Description
We are a german non profit organisation taking care of injured or needing strays out of the streets of Antalya, Turkey. On an area of 10.000 m2 we give medical treatment, food and a safe space to about 150 dogs, 30 cats, 10 donkeys and 2 horses. You will find lots of things to do, to help our team with caring, cleaning and building - but your most important task will be giving and receaving love :) To help our animals to be prepared for a further social life, we are always in need of volonteers who keep our animals used to the human and its habbits. We are offering a one room guestapartment, including bathroom and small kitchen. You can use the main kitchen at any time and we invite you to join our morning ritual of taking breakfast all together. The station is located in Aksu, wich is in the backland of Antalya. The vibrant medeterranean metropolis is just a few miles away and nearby one finds all one needs for daily life. What could be better than cuddeling animals under palmtrees nearby the Aegean Sea and its beautiful beaches?! We look forward to meeting you !

Our station is led by a turkish young team. Everybody has more or less pronounced english skills, and arms and feet for international non verbal language ;) Everybody there is always happy to welcome new people of the world, giving some authentic impressions of the wonderfull turkish culture.

Hébergement
One Room Apartment with bathroom and small kitchen located in the middle of the station. The main kitchen including all common devices is free to use at any time for cooking, eating and social activities

Every morning our team brings fresh bread, eggs and cheese to the station. At 10 am there will be breakfast for everybody. For dinner (or at any other time) our volunteers are welcome to use the modern kitchen and all stored groceries. Nearby one finds a lot of restaurants with local dishes for little money as well.
