  Description

  We are a Swiss couple and live in our house with a change in beautiful Toggenburg. We have 4 dogs of our own, a cat, 4 dwarf rabbits, a few dozen guinea pigs and 10 aquariums with lots of fish. We run a sanctuary/sanctuary for guinea pigs that live in a large year-round facility on our property. We are a non-profit animal protection organization and often have foster dogs from Spain who can get their first experience in a real home with us. Since these rather anxious dogs often have a problem with men, we would therefore rather choose female workawayers. Holiday dogs also come to visit us from time to time, so we usually accommodate a rather large pack of dogs here. There is always a lot to do on the property and in the house and projects such as painting on and in the house, landscaping or even woodwork are fairly common.
  Toggenburg is ideal for beautiful hikes in summer or skiing in winter. We are easily accessible by public transport and Lake Boden or Lake Zurich are nearby.

  Wir sind ein Schweizer Ehepaar und wohnen in unserem Haus mit Umschwung im schönen Toggenburg. Zu uns gehören 4 eigene Hunde, eine Katze, 4 Zwergkaninchen einige duzend Meerschweinchen und 10 Aquarien mit vielen Fischen. Wir betreiben eine Auffangstation/Gnadenhof für Meerschweinchen, die auf einer grossen ganz-Jahres-Anlage bei uns auf dem Grundstück leben. Wir sind für eine Nonprofit Tierschutzorganisation tätig und haben oft Pflegehunde aus Spanien, welche bei uns erste Erfahrungen in einem richtigen zu Hause machen dürfen. Da diese eher ängstlichen Hunde oft ein Problem mit Männern haben, würden wir uns daher eher für weibliche Workawayer entscheiden. Auch Ferienhunde sind bei uns ab und an zu Gast, so das wir meistens ein eher grösseres Hunderudel hier beherbergen. Auf dem Grundstück und im Haus gibt es immer viel zu tun und Projekte wie Malerarbeiten am und im Haus, Landschaftsumgestaltungen oder auch Holzarbeiten sind eher häufig.
  Das Toggenburg bietet sich an für schöne Wanderungen im Sommer oder Skifahren im Winter. Wir sind mit dem öffentlichen Verkehr gut erreichbar und der Boden oder-Zürichsee sind in der Nähe.

  You are welcome to help train the dogs in the dog club. We lead a simple life and love animals.

  Das Toggenburg bietet eine recht ursprüngliche und traditionelle Kultur, die sehr Naturverbunden ist mit unglaublich schönen Landschaften.
  Du kannst gerne bei der Ausbildung der Hunde im Hundeclub mithelfen. Wir führen ein einfaches Leben und sind sehr tierliebend.

  Help with looking after the small animals, some house tasks, green algae care, cooking or walking with the dogs. Every now and then there are construction projects that you would like to help shape.

  Hébergement

  You have your own room (office is located there) with a bunk bed and our bathroom including steam shower, whirlpool and sauna for shared use. All common rooms for shared use. We'll have dinner together, you're welcome to cook too, we'd be really happy about it.

  Du hast ein "fast" eigenes Zimmer (Büro ist da untergebracht) mit einem Etagenbett und unser Bad inkl. Dampfdusche-Whirlpool und Sauna zur Mitbenützung. Alle Gemeinschaftsräume zur Mitbenützung. Wir nehmen gemeinsam das Abendessen ein, du darfst gerne auch mal kochen, wir würden uns riesig darüber freuen.

  Good public transport connections, we are also mobile by car. You should definitely not be afraid of dogs and treat animals with respect. Because we have so many animals living here, you should not be allergic to dust and animal hair.

  Gute öffentliche Verkehrsverbindungen, wir sind auch mit Auto mobil. Du solltest definitiv keine Angst vor Hunden haben und Tiere mit Respekt behandeln. Aufgrund der vielen tierischen Bewohner bei uns solltest du nicht allergisch auf Staub und Tierhaare reagieren.
  
  Da unsere eigene Arbeitsauslastung enorm ist, ist es unabdingbar, dass du möglichst selbständig, zuverlässig und Pflichtbewusst die dir übertragenen Arbeiten ausführst. Du arbeitest mit Tieren, da können Fehler oft tödlich sein.
