I spent a month with Lisa and Jeff and their family, who were super welcoming. It was my first workaway project and I couldn't have asked for a better family to help me take my first steps into Canadian life. Clearly, they know how to put you at ease! … read more airline). In general, they took the time to understand what I was saying if I couldn't find the words directly in English, and took the time to rephrase if I didn't understand what they meant.
Concerning the chores, they weren't too hard, clearly announced and if I had any questions I knew I could ask Lisa without any hesitation. What's more, the family offers excellent advice if you want to explore the area, and the fact that I had to do the work in the morning meant I could make the most of my afternoons and evenings.
In other words, I can only recommend that you go to them!

Je ne pouvais pas imaginer trouver meilleure famille que celle de Lisa et Jeff. j'ai adoré leur rendre service, ils ont été au petit soin pour moi et mon donné tout ce dont j'avais besoin. Je retournerai sans hésitation les voir. je n'avais pas l'impression d'être un inconnu mais quelque'un de la famille !

Morgan was so wonderful and clean!!!! He transformed our property. He is very trustworthy and capable !! We wish he could have moved in permanently!! Perfect guest. Amazingly hard worker. ♥️
These guys were so kind and easy to host. Very skilled and relaxed yet worked sooooo hard. We couldn’t believe what they accomplished while they were here. We were lucky to have them.
We were fortunate that Lisa and her family were able to accommodate us on such short notice. We had a wonderful time and stayed there for about 2 weeks. Working on the mini farm was incredibly enjoyable. There was plenty of freedom, and we spent our days independently completing the tasks, as both Lisa and Jeff work. This required a lot of
… read more initiative, which we really appreciated, especially as a couple. Lisa always gave us clear instructions on what needed to be done, and we were then able to carry them out. It was a lot of fun.
Lisa is incredibly hospitable, and we felt comfortable right away. We lived independently and could prepare and eat our meals on our own, giving us a sense of autonomy. Despite this, Lisa and her family were very warm, and we enjoyed many fun and chatty times with them. The summer bonfire was just one of the many wonderful evenings we spent there. We are extremely grateful that they took us in at the last minute, and we look forward to seeing them again the next time we are in the area.Feedback
