The house in the Village is a social project located 20 Km South East from Tirana at a Village called Pellümbas. The project aims to immerse and to sensitize visitors in the daily life of the Village.
The project started by renovating the abandoned stone house on the property, with the collaboration of volunteers and locals the house became a lovely Guest house that has hosted travelers and volunteers for the last 2 years. The house is a traditional Albanian Stone house that has belong to the same family for over 50 years.

We're looking to welcome volunteers who feel comfortable in nature and genuinely enjoy rural life, you will be relatively close to the city but still Pellümbas is a 500 habitants village with 3 coffeeshops and 2 groceries store.
Pellümbas or The Village of Pigeons has several trekking trails with mesmerizing views, the one that stands out the must is the trail that takes you to The Cave. A karst cave that is one of among six karstic caves that exist in Europe. The cave has a length of 360 m (1,180 ft) with a width which can vary between 10–15 m (33–49 ft) and a vertical range of 45 m (148 ft).

Currently looking for help with:
Cleaning Chores, as we're welcoming guests and volunteers, we need a hand with simple cleaning chores like hanging, folding, ironing Bedsheets, brooming, moping, in general keeping the place neat.
Construction, we're still renovating and decorating the guest house, volunteers with carpenter skills, and with the availability to use tools are also welcome.
We have a big garden, with a lot of fruits trees. We plant vegetables and we would like to continue creating more orchards around the land.

The guest house counts with 3 rooms, on each room there is a double bed and a bunkbed. On Winter we offer a bed on a room that will be shared with other volunteers or guests.
We have a well equipped kitchen, a cozy diving room and a comfortable living room. On the property there is also a beautiful garden, 2 small mud houses and a terrace where to enjoy sunsets and mountain views. Several fruit trees and a storage/workshop area with several tools to create
We would like to share that there is no Wifi on the House, volunteers are usually getting a sim card from the local providers around 15Euros per 30 Gigas or visiting one of the coffee shops in town like 7 min from the house.
Also we would like to add that we're a vegetarians and we will appreciate no meat, chicken or fish is cook in our premises.
