  Description

  I am a 57 years old, friendly wife and mother of 4 grown up children. We also have 3 grandchildren. My husbond and I live on an small populær Island, Nólsoy, in the Faroe Islands. The ship to Tórshavn and back is sailing several times during the day and evning. It takes about 25 min. each way. One daughter still lives with us here. Because of my work as a nurse, I often spend days in the capital in a small rentet appartment. My husband is a fisherman and is often at sea in summertime and a lot home at winthertime.
  We have a dog, BorderCollie and 2 cats, Cornish Rex.
  About Nolsoy: The most popular Island here and there is a lot if social activities here. A lot of tourists visit here and the famous bar is also here. Maggie’s it is called.

  How daily living in the villages is. Knowledge of our Fatoese food and to preper it. We seldom bye dinners, we eat a lot of fish- and sheepmeat. We will catch the fish ourself and preper it the same day.
  Often in the early mornings you can join a quick schwim in the cold sea at the beach Malarendi - and socialise with the Islanders. Also go to the bar in the evnings. And if I find the time, we can do something special fx go up a mountin.
  Learn a bit of the Faroese language and visit other historical pkaces in the Islands.
  If lucky, you can go in the mountin and help getting sll the sheeps home :)

  Aide

  Animals:
  Dog: walk with him 1-2 times dayly, feed him and play with him 15 min each day.
  Cats: feed them, cosy them and cleaning their bucket each day.
  Sheeps: Maybe helping feeding them and help my husbond and son cleaning the sheeps house for the sommer.
  Home inside:
  All over the house cleaning and cloths washing a bit pr day
  Meals: Help at dinner and I can teach you how to make dinner her in the Island. Bake cakes and bread - I will teach you. Sometimes we will do these things together.
  Home outside: For example painting a wall, digging in some mull - just easy stuff, and I will guide you.

  Hébergement

  You eill ne staying in our home, Nolsoy, and you will have your ovn room to sleep. We will eat dinner together. My husbond is early up and I am s morning sleeper. So brekfast við sometimes eat together and often lunch. All depends of wether I am in Tórshavn or home in Nólsoy. But we take esch day as it comes. We have our regular food at home and you will be free eating it. If you have special needs, you buy it yourself.

  I am a friendly and helpful person and I will guide you how to experience local sights and in the others islands. For example is the graveyard stone of James Bond here in the Islands.
  I expect a friendliness and helpfullness around me. Things quickly done so there is more freetime for both you and me.
  I am very patient,understanding and tolerant. I love knitting and baking. I can teach you how to knitt, if you like :)
