I was welcomed into their family from day one and enjoyed getting to also know their daughters' families, as well as Jackie's mum. Roberts Ck is an absolute gem of a place and it was such a luxury to walk 5mins from their house to one of the most beautiful swimming beaches. The sunsets over the ocean are something else...

In no time at all Shannon was part of the family! Always eager to help with any task she was given. Shannon is a hard worker and did each job with enthusiasm. She weeded gardens, cleared brush and painted the house with attention to detail . It was wonderful having her help in the kitchen. She's a great cook and we enjoyed many delicious vegan
… read more meals during her stay. My grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed her company and we all wish she could have stayed longer.

I stayed with Jackie and Wayne for two weeks and would have stayed longer if I could. They were both extremely accommodating and always made sure i was comfortable, well fed and had everything i needed and more. We all appreciated his culinary skills and felt very spoiled while we were enjoying home made desserts and Swiss bread. I stayed almost one month with Jackie and Wayne. I could have stayed much longer because they are such lovely people.
I really enjoyed working for them. I could do different kind of things and it was never too exhausting or boring work.
Jackie was such a kind host-mother :-) She always bought plenty of different food for me (a lot of cinnamon
… read more buns) and she really cared about my good health. Wayne was a brilliant employer ;-) He explained really well what I have to do and he always answered all my questions.
In my free time I could go for a walk by myself or with them along the coast which was gorgeous! The best free time activity was doing some stuff with their grand childrens. Finn and Ella are to lovely and energetic children. I really enjoyed to be with them.
I would definitely go back to them if I have another chance.

We had such a good time showing Amandine the West Coast of Canada! She immediately became part of our family. She is a good worker and we got a lot accomplished while she was here. She was excellent with the children and very helpful at mealtimes. I look forward to seeing her in France one day.

I'm French and I went to Wayne and Jackie for two weeks, I joined my girlfriend. My level in English was very bad but in two weeks we could see small improvements. The family was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful moments of complicity especially with kids. It was a very nice experience and I hope to see them again in France. :)

It was my first workaway for 3 weeks and what a great time! Jackie, Wayne and all the family are so friendly, we were eating all together with delicious meal!
