Help with garden /house /farm work in Bega Valley, Australia

  Description

  We are looking for gardening help or cleaning help on our 15 acre horse property. There are also some farm maintenance jobs and minor building/fixing projects. We have three children (5, 8 and 10 yrs old) and a variety of fury friends who call this place home, so you need to be okay with kids and animals, and a bit of noise. If you are experienced with horses there may also be some horse jobs for you to do. We would enjoy sharing a meal with you once or twice a week if it suits us all. We enjoy our downtime as a family and will sometimes need to be quiet and on our own, however the kids love meeting people from around the world and are curious about different cultures. Anyone who plays soccer (football) is very welcome to kick a ball with our 10 year-old son, he will be delighted. Our daughter loves doing horse stuff with experienced riders. Accomodation is in a cosy studio cabin for you to stay in with its own kitchen and bathroom. It is close to the house, but is your own space completely while you are here. Children are okay to come and stay. We live a ten to fifteen minute drive from some amazing beaches and a National Park.

  We can show you some amazing nature spots along the Sapphire Coast of NSW, bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, cycling. Happy to lend you kayaks or bikes. We are very close to national parks and beautiful beaches.

  Studio cabin with a queen bed and 2 single bunk beds, own bathroom with toilet and shower, and own kitchen. Sleeps 4. The cabin is close to our house so we ask that you are considerate of our family, sometimes our kids will want to engage and sometimes they will need downtime or quiet.

  Ideally you need your own car as there isn't any public transport easily accessible. There are amazing beaches, lakes, lagoons, bush walks, small villages with markets and a good local music scene around us. If you do not have your own car we can give you a lift to Bega or Tathra a few times a week (when we do school drop off etc.). There is a bus 3km away from our house that goes twice a day to Tathra or Merimbulla if you want to go to the beach. You can walk or cycle to the bus stop, however keep in mind it is 3km and it only runs twice a day. We can lend you an electric bike to go cycling and explore the lake or beaches near us, it is about a half hour to an hour cycle to these.
