Dear Workawayers, my name is Fadi, I inherited Adonis Valley farm from my grandfather and have developed the land to bear organic eggs, vegetables, fruit, herbs, pickles and preserves. Our products are of high quality, using traditional recipes and local produce to remain as close to the authentic Lebanese kitchen as possible.
We are situated 30 minutes inland from Byblos and our property spans a small terraced farm where we grow almonds, walnuts, pomegranates, mulberries and apricots (just to name a few!) and seasonal vegetables. We also have a host of chickens, quails and rabbits. As well as functioning as a farm, we are building up our reputation as a sustainability education centre for children, running programs on organic farming, sustainable living, recycling, honey making and nature walks.

Depending on what time of year you come to visit us you can learn about the various techniques of planting, harvesting and preserving organically. You will also be able to discover and even learn how to make traditional local products. You will also be introduced to species of fruit and nut trees indigenous to Lebanon and learn about their unique benefits.
Of course, in a more general way, you will see how life on the Lebanese farm is as there are often people from the village, guests and clients coming by for lunches and events etc. Hopefully hiking trips will be available in the village by the end of summer. Also, don't miss visiting our website and Instagram...
Different kinds of help and activities are possible, according to the season, your skills and preferences :)
Help can be required with gardening, feeding the animals, welcoming and guiding visitors for special events and upgrading the premises to an Agri tourism professional level.
Knowledge and skills in social media like Instagram would be very helpful.
We will cover the food, some of it organic from the farm, and some from the market nearby.
You will stay in my family’s summer house, a minute or so from the office. There is reliable electricity, hot water, drinkable water washing machine, kitchen and the house is fully furniture. Internet is accessible downstairs.
I am present at the farm 90% of the days and I live in city of Jounieh (30 mins away). I have 3 permanent employees and my salesman goes down to Beirut 4 times a week. We are at 35 Km from Beirut, the capital.
There is no public transport to the farm, but I pass by the highway every week day in the morning- me or the delivery as mentioned above - and sometimes also the week-end so I can pick you up there.
Fatri, the village closest to the farm, is located in Adonis Valley. Hiking ways and camping settlement are actually in development. MACAM's Museum is 5 minutes away by car; there is also a contemporary art exhibition. We are 20 min by car from Byblos city and the beaches of Batroun and Enfe are approximately 30 minutes by car.
