Description
Our hostel is a oasis in the heart of Tirana, we began our Hostel in 2010. We have had an amazing experience till now with guest and volunteers. We do try to make sure you will feel at home with us. The hostel is run by three sisters born and raised in Albania. Our local staff is members of family too.
We have a lovely place with big garden with fruity trees and a small bar. We do day tours and as well try to find new ways to improve the hostel service.
At the moment our local team is us the owners of the hostel. We are three of us and we are at the hostel daily
People who come volunteer with us are provided with board and breakfast and are invited often to join the home cooked family meal. We are well connected with various art projects and community events. We can sign post you to local activities to ensure you get the most out of your stay if you wish.

The city is very good fun, we will show you the best places for you to visit. Very local cool markets and cool local art performance place. Staying here means you are in walking distance to the beautiful city center, here you can find the National history museum, the National Art Gallery, National theatre, Opera hall, City hall, the Pyramid and the Tirana's oldest and enchanting Ethem Beu Mosque. Very near from us is the blloku district, where all the live music, funky cafes, and rumbling clubs can be found. Tirana is a hub of music geniuses, so don't be surprised to hear of gigs happening here at the hostel or nearby.

During the summer period can get very busy but always fun. We need people that are creative and want to help us with day to day running of the hostel, we welcome those who have craft skills and would like to create something in our garden space or even inside our home.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Tirana. Verona was flexible, which allowed me to explore other parts of Albania, something I really wanted to do! the work itself was very reasonable, and I made some lifelong friends whilst volunteering at the hostel.

Overall I had a very good experience here. When I first started there were 10 other volunteers and we were one big family, cooking together and doing activities in our spare time. I stayed here for 5 weeks, so I ended up even extending my month stay. I enjoyed meeting a lot of volunteers who became good friends. Because it was off season I was able to tackle some DIY projects like making a wooden bar and making curtains.

I had such an amazing time here I'll struggle to put it into words, but here goes! This was my first time travelling and my first workaway so I arrived quite nervous, but in literally under an hour in the common area chatting to some guests and other volunteers I felt super comfortable and it soon felt like home!

You quickly will feel as part of the family and are included in events and occassions around the 2 hostels which are not too far apart. One of the best volunteers of all the time. Super correct, committed, friendly and creative. Trustful and lovely to talk to. Its a great great person to hang around with. Intelligent and funny :). We even offered her a job but unfortunately wrong time....You will be lucky if she asked to stay with you even shortly.

Mac stayed and volunteered with us for a long while, a great volunteer, very helpful with the guest in the hostel. Fun and communicative, careful and very responsible person. Was an absolute pleasure to have someone like help in the Hostel. We totally recommend him and his help. Thank you again.

We unfortunately had to shorten our time here due to family reasons but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay while working in the brand new City Center hostel. I wanted to stay more but unfortunatly i had to leave after one week. It was excellent for us to work in those wonderful Hostels. We felt at home in both of them and we were free to create and propose whatever we wanted. We also had a lot of free time to visit and go away. Thanks for everything, i'll come back!

They were supposed to come and volunteered as agreed, I did writ two times to have an answer and I still don't know the reasons why they don't writ back not even to cancel their volunteering plan.
