Description
Hello everyone, we re a German/Swiss Family. Our Kids are 13, 9 and 5 years old. We live close to Bern in a small lovely village in a nice house on a little hill.
We speak english and german.
We have a small farm with 5 goats, 10 sheep, rabbits and
a big garden.
We always need help with the garden, stables, creative projects, Kids, household and everything thats happening around our life and house.

I’ve gained a lot of valuable experiences and fond memories with the whole family. I was always invited to join them for their family activities and I enjoyed every moment. We went mushroom picking in forests, had barbecues with amazing views, picked a cute little puppy for their grandmother, and visited a wool production place.

Work was mostly simple and enjoyable tasks like harvesting apples and vegetables, preparing ingredients, wool sorting, some fencing work and feeding the animals. Maria even taught me how to do felting so that I could make a souvenir for myself.

Maria is an amazing person, a wonderful mother and a loving wife. I have learnt so much from her throughout my whole stay and I am truly inspired by her thoughts and views. She is talented in handcrafts and is also an amazing cook and baker! She bakes the best cakes and every single meal that she cooked was delicious. She even prepared cheese fondue and raclette before I left, it was my first time trying them and they were so good! I was also very touched by the warmth, care and concern she had for me when I moved to my next host. She drove me over, checked on me to make sure that I was ok and even welcomed me to go back anytime I want. She is truly amazing.

Stefan and the kid’s grandmother were also really nice and friendly all the time.
Clara and Jonas are the cutest and sweetest kids I’ve ever met. They are polite, understanding, pure, kind hearted and full of love and energy. I love playing with them and they were always keen to teach me some German words. I also love that the house is always filled with their laughters and it’s really contagious. I’m missing their laughters already!

Their animals are also really cute and cuddly. I love how they treat all their animals with so much love.

Words can’t explain how thankful and blessed I am for everything. This was truly an amazing experience and I cherish every moment spent. They have kindly invited my mum and me over to spend xmas with them, so I can’t wait to see them again!
