Hi there :)
My name is Janine (33), my husband and me have been Volunteers ourselves and had the most amazing experiences.
Now we own two houses, a few sheeps and welcome every help we can get.
We basically just moved from one house to another, and need help with all kind of things.
Our idea is to pimp the old house a bit and get it ready to become a holiday accommodation.
It already has a lot of charme and all amenities and you can live there all by yourself.
We live just 30 minutes away in another pituresque little village and are more than happy to show you the area or spend some time together over a nice dinner.
You would have a great internet connection (fiber) and would live in a small rural house with garden in a beautiful small village directly on the Moselle.
The area is beautiful with a lot of nature around.
You can hike, enjoy some of all those wine festivals around and explore castles or small cute villages.
Trier is a cute student town and just a 30 minutes away. There are kind of a lot of Expats and young people in Trier and it is easy to connect with those.
We would definitely recommend having a car though to explore the area, as it can be difficult to do everything by public transportation. Though we already had volunteers which managed to get around quite a lot via hitchhiking and bus.
But it is quite remote !
In return we are looking for help with gardening, painting, deep cleaning, taking care of the super messy cellar or other things to make this house a beautiful holiday home.
Occasionally we might ask for help at our new house, with for example gardening, building fences or shelter for our sheeps.

We are always willing to learn and share experiences. Super curious about who you are and your life! We can of course also share what we´ve learned about dogs, working online, and life in general so far. If you would like to learn german, I can also help you with this or we simply taste some local wine, cook together and figure out what we can learn from each other.
Aide
It´s really all about converting our beloved small rural house into a really nice holiday cottage.
So cleaning, painting, reorganizing, gardening are probably the main tasks.
But we are flexible and open for ideas as well, if you have any idea how to make this place more unique and magical let´s hear it ;)
