Description
I'm the caretaker of a beautiful 145acre property set in the magical Daintree Rainforest. One of the best kept secrets of the area, words won't do it justice. Swimming holes and creeks to enjoy, hiking trails to explore and in my opinion the best beach in FNQ just a short 10min cycle away.
You'll call the private jungle cottage home. A tranquil space where you can connect deeply with Self and Nature. Tend to the vegie garden or fruit orchids and prepare a meal in your own outdoor kitchen.

You'll have a one of a kind experience just being in the Daintree Rainforest. The oldest rainforest in the world where you can embrace nature and allow it to help your growth as an individual.
A beautiful community of friends who are Self aware, sober and environmentally engaged. If you'd like to be involved in fun, wholesome adventures like off grid living, festivals, hikes, fishing, camping, cooking, jam nights, ecstatic dance then you will be welcomed and if you'd prefer to enjoy some solitude, this will be respected.

One of the 3 dwellings on the property is rented out.
Housekeeping of this house when guests are arriving and help with general maintenance, caretaking like mowing lawns, gardening, DIY projects and tidying up around the yard and fruit orchards is requested. Not more than 20 hours/week.

Hébergement
Off Grid Jungle Cottage - self contained with outdoor bathroom and toilet. Spacious bedroom and craft/study space with large desk. Utilities - a small solar power system (enough for LED lighting and recharging devices during the daytime) gas cooking, spring fed water (cold only).
Lovely outdoor kitchen and dining where you can prepare your meals from freshly harvested vegetables growing at your doorstep! There is NO internet connection at the cottage but you will have agreed duration access to wifi from the caretakers shed and from the main house when it is vacant.

There's so much to explore in the Daintree area but there's also amazing places on the property to take your time to discover.
Beautiful swimming holes, waterfalls and hikes. Kayak out to Snapper Island and camp out.
