  Description

  We are all settled again into our new, semi permanent, half nomadic lifestyle, moving back and forth between Switzerland and the Algarve. A lot has changed in our life but what remains the same is our open heart and joy in the workaway experience. All the wonderful people we have met on our journey so far, some still part of our heart family now :)
  
  As we keep writing our next chapter, we are once again opening our home to complete strangers in the hope of mutual benefit, finding friends for life and simply living the fullest version of ourselves! So are you maybe our next worky(s) who can help us out while we travel to the Algarve?
  
  My grandparents just left us a house there and we will start the process of turning it into a magical place (that we don't quite know yet what it will grow into but we are starting hehe) and while we are there we need someone to hold down the fort here in Switzerland. As a garden Momma I always need my own food growing no matter how small the place or how urban the environment. So your help would consist of looking after my newly started veg garden (that is still fairly small), my tomatoes, and the surroundings of the house we currently live in. We also have a small, super sweet dog named Sofia who simply wants to be close to beautiful humans all the time.
  
  We offer you a very cutsy little flat in the historic town of Burgdorf, which literally means the town of the castle because guess what? There is a castle ;) It is conveniently located only 20 minutes by train from the capital of Bern as well as super close to all the touristy and instagramy stuff of the Alps that everyone seems to want to do.

  We can give you a very loving and open environment and you can learn about natural child raising, homeschooling or freeschooling, vegan cooking, music, sewing, crafting, preserving, baking, Permaculture/no dig gardening, Biodiversity - IF we are here. But at the moment we are more looking for a house sitting situation.

  Aide

  While we are in the Algarve we need someone who literally does everything we do here in Switzerland. It is not a huge amount of work but it involves:
  -mowing the lawn
  -walking and caring for our dog
  -water plants and harvest food (and also eat it hihi)
  -do some seasonal garden work as needed
  -keep up the flat (clean and tidy)
  -do some cleaning and sweeping of the common grounds as I also have the role of the keeper

  We are a trilingual (quadrolingual) family and especially the kids always benefit from english, spanish or french speaking Workawayers :)

  Hébergement

  flexible sleeping arrangements depending on the season. But I always strive to make everyone as comfortable as possible :) if we are not here you have the entire flat to yourself. Which include a master bedroom with a double bed and the kids bedroom with 3 single Harry Potter style beds :) of course there is also a living room, kitchen and bathroom as well as the good sized outdoor space around the house (flat)

  I am more than happy to assist you with any trips you would like to do, drive you to the closest station if I have time. I am really flexible and helpful if you need my help with something we can always talk about it! There is so much to do in the immediate natural surrounding as well as in Switzerland as a country. So I am sure you will not get bored :D
