Hi!
We are William & Amina and we both decided to leave our student life in France two years ago to start a new life in Lombok. We live full time on Amina's parents organic farm/ homestay. A few years ago, this place was an abandoned cashew orchard and now, we have build 5 wooden bungalows that we rent for travelers.
As for the garden, we are developing permaculture techniques to grow our vegetables. The dream would be to be able to eat everyday from our garden.

Here you will have the opportunity to learn about the rich culture and exchange with locals. We only work with people from our village and are very thankful to have such an amazing community! The locals are extremely kind and will welcome you with open hearts.

PERMACULTURE
We need help in the garden! The farm is located in an extremely dry area (except during the rainy season, there's no water here). As if this wasn't challenging enough, our soil is very poor, dry and rocky... So you've guessed it! Our place is the perfect place for permaculture!
Update : As of now we are only looking for people who have had good experience in permaculture as we are expanding our farm & need advice on how to proceed.
FRIDAY CLEAN UPS
We created a trash cleaning project, so every Friday, you will be joining us for our weekly clean-up. We always pick a different spot and our goal is to exchange with the villagers about plastic and pollution and also find new solutions to reduce our waste.

We have a bungalow for volunteers.It has a double bed and its own bathroom.

We are located in the north of lombok where the Rinjani Volcano stands. There are a lot of trekking activities around our farm. Plenty of rivers and waterfalls are near by and black sanded beaches are just off our farm site. A little bit further off (1 hour away) are beautiful white sanded beaches.
