Hostel on the beach in a peaceful Ecuadorian village!

Description

We are seeking volunteers to assist us at our relaxed and family-friendly cabanas, located right on the beach of beautiful Ayampe village!
Volunteer duties include front desk administration, customer service, pet care and odd jobs tailored to your skills/interests. We request 20hrs per week, no more than 4-5hrs per day. Shifts will be scheduled according to management's requirements and we will ensure you get at least 2 free days per week. We ask that volunteers commit for a minimum of 1 month.
Volunteers will be accommodated in their own room in a simple 4 bedroom share-house (just 1 minute walk from the beach/cabanas), and will have access to the wifi at the hotel. Applications from bi-lingual Spanish speakers will be given priority. Couples also considered. If you are friendly and motivated, and love coastal living, then this is the placement for you!

Ecuador is a wonderful and rich country, and Ayampe is a small peaceful town well located at the ruta del sol, the locals and foreigners that have come to live here are all very nice and open.
You will see people from all around the world and learn about the day to day of hotel work.

Aide

We are looking for help with reception work and social networking for our small hotel.
Our ideal volunteer should speak spanish and have good social skills.
We are interested in someone who would like to stay 2 months or more, but will consider all applications who commit for a minimum of 1 month.

Ayampe is a good place to practice yoga and surf, there is always something to do in this paradise-like beach village. We are close to different tourist attractions and we are currently enjoying the whale season. We are also located right on the border of Machalilla National Park. There are plenty of jungle walks to do and exotic birds to sight.
