Description
Were a small family, located in the Slocan Valley near Nelson BC. We have an organic farm , which provides 30 people a week with a box of vegetables. Were tucked away near a river, amongst the mountains.

There's lots to learn in terms of growing veggies here, and homesteading. The area that surrounds us is filled with hiking, fishing, camping, canoeing. The town of Nelson is a cultural hub that has tons of music and great food.

We have a clean tent trailer available ( 2 double beds). Workawayers are welcome to use our shower/bathroom. We will provide breakfast/dinner.

On our small farm, there are many tasks to do. He humbly went to work and asked questions when needed. He also really helped us out in getting ready for winter, harvesting, small reno work and befriending our son. Many thanks Arley!
Eather, Sean and their boy Otis, welcomed me as a member of the family! I stayed 6 weeks with them.
They made me visit their regions with several unforgettable walks in the forest and in the mountains! They helped me improve my English and find a car.
