My husband Bennie and I (Christa) are living on a farm in the east of the Netherlands on the German border. We have a large vacationhouse, a big garden, horses, dogs, a cat and chicken.

I'm looking for help in my garden and in the horsefields. Also some housekeeping/cleaning in the vacationhouse.
The work is very easy to do and will be most of the time cleaning work in the garden, fields and (vacation)house. (weeding, shoveling horsepoo)
So maybe it will not be very exciting projects, but if you want to do some relaxing, calming work you are welcome!

Our farm is near the German border, next to a little town, where are supermarkets and some shops. Winterswijk is about 7 km away. You can use a bicycle or can be transferred to the railwaystation in Winterswijk bij car.
We are very flexible about the workinghours, so if you want to have time ofduring the week, it's not a problem, than you can switch your workinghours. (Most of the time)

Claudia was hier twee weken en het was een feestje dat je hier was. Ik heb genoten van de gesprekken, jouw bak, en kookkunsten en je aanwezigheid. Je deed je werk goed en met toewijding en ging rustig je gang. Je bent zeer behulpzaam en staat altijd klaar om iemand te helpen. Anna Lena is a easygoing girl, who quietly goes her way. She works neatly and precisely and follows her orders well. In addition to her "normal" work, she has regularly done groundwork and walks with the horses. Anna Lena's heart opens up with the horses! The animals are fantastic, Molly and Dopje the dogs are both sweeties, I enjoyed getting to know all the horses as I worked in all their fields over the 2 weeks I was there. Maya and Jacob are very friendly, easy going persons. It was nice to have them around and they did a good job cleaning the fields and the place. They can work independed when I was not there and see what's neccesary to be done. They did also cook a good meal a few times. You did a good job for your first workawayexperience!
