Description
John and Mary living in Mayo looking for some help for a month with the lambing season. We live in a lovely part of Mayo out in the countryside, about 15 minutes from Tuam and 15 minutes from Claremorris. Galway city is 40 minutes away. From 10th March 2019 we would like some assistance while the sheep are lambing. This may suit a vetinerary student or someone from a farming background

Experiencing life in the countryside in beautiful Mayo. Getting an idea of farmlife...change of scenery. 20 minutes drive from the village of Cong (Ashford Castle) and there is nowhere nicer on a beautiful day. Living in a quiet paced environment in the countryside.
Aide
Keeping an eye on the sheep, overseeing any issues - really just need an extra pair of hands with regard to feeding sheep and making sure all the lambs born are ok. There is no big work load. Previous experience would be a big advantage but not essential.

We live in a two story house. We have a ensuite bedroom downstairs. There is loads of room in a nice warm house which is heated by geo thermal. You are welcome to join us for all meals.

Local sites - Ashford Castle in Cong, Galway city 40 minutes away. Lots of lovely walks. Nice walks about 5 minutes away in the town of Milltown. Knock is 20 minutes away if you feel like a bit of time out and reflection
