I enjoyed my stay at the cultural center in rehlovice. Lenka welcomed me with a smile when I arrived and Roberto, the dog, was there too. In no time I felt comfortable in Lenka's company. you can feel she wants only good things for you and is happy for your help and inputs. the place is very calm, spacious, a lot of things has to be / can be done but there is always time off and breaks, which I enjoy (: lenka took me to a cinema in a small town, an exhibition in another small town and advised me on different trips I could do. she laughed at my jokes from time to time and for that I am grateful. different people visited the cultural center during my stay which led to great encounters. a special thanks to the volunteering girls, Clara and farina, for being the best, nothing less. I would recommend this place. all combined; the gallery, the cultural center, the area, the art, the people, the place, the kofola , the plants, the mountains, the nearby cities etc. makes it a great experience. insert yourself !! is my advice. especially if you're interested in people, culture, history, relations, art .. warm recommendation. thank you, lenka (:

David came as a stranger and left as a friend! He is such a wonderful soul! He is respectful, reliable, he has a positive and healthy lifestyle and attitude! Aside from that he is talented and hard working! He helped us a lot with our project and we are very happy and grateful that he spent some weeks here! We are very grateful to Lara for opening the doors of her beautiful house in Olvera, a small and cozy town, it was our first workaway experience and it could not have been better, she was always very attentive and understanding, thank you very much for allowing us to be part of your project, count on us for whatever you need in the future, we wish you the best and hope to see you in Mexico!

We had an amazing time and experience at the fondation. We met incredible kids, adults, staff and workawayers. The atmosphere at the fondation is absolutely magic and we bonded easily with everyone we met there. Each hug and smile filled our hearts with love. There are so many different activites we can do with them, so many great ideas to recycle all materials. Overall, we can't recommand this place enough. You'll have great memories for a lifetime! Thank you again to everyone we met there ❤️

Amy and Andrew spent 3 weeks with me. They are a charming lovely couple. Very respectful and conscientious workers. They are skilled in gardening, painting, sanding and even doing some masonry. I could totally trust them with the tasks.They are proactive and eager to help. It was a pleasure to host them and I can only recommend them !

Maelle was here with her friend, they are a great group, I was also learn from them! Our common topic was the vineyard and the wine! She is talented to do things and she is a great person! :)

What a great time we had here! Kelly and Dave were the best hosts, we felt very welcomed in this beautiful house right next to Lake Ontario with an amazing view. We mainly did gardening during our 10 days stay here, which was fun and rewarding. Kelly was always making sure that the work trade was fair, which was really appreciated! The area is very beautiful, we did nice little hikes in Sandbanks, went for walks in the neighbourhood and at Massassauga Point, and were even able to borrow Kelly and Dave bikes to enjoy the area. It’s a very peaceful environment! Regarding the housing, it was more than perfect and so confortable! We had our own space on the first floor, which is really appreciated for couples. Plus, Kelly is a great cooker and the food was amazing! Lastly, we were happy to cross paths with Jonah, Maggie, Stella, Puck and Kelly and Dave's neighbors, who were all adorable. We wish you all the best for the future, thank you so much again for this wonderful stay, and good luck with the dandelions hunt ;) Clara & Alex

O Viramundo foi uma experiência de outro planeta! Durante um mês partilhámos todos os dias com prazer e alegria de cada espaço criado por este projeto tão generoso como cada uma das pessoas que nele trabalham. Seremos sempre gratos a todos por nos receberem com tanto carinho e principalmente ao Lucas e à Clara por serem uma ponte valiosa entre a fazenda e os workawayers, ter a oportunidade de ser voluntário aqui é um verdadeiro privilégio. Cercado por um ambiente natural único, você poderá participar de todos os espaços criados por e para a comunidade, compartilhar com eles tem sido um lindo intercâmbio cultural e de muito aprendizado. Cuidado aos workawayers!! Com certeza um grande pedaço do seu coração ficará para sempre no Viramundo!!

We stayed at Ted's house for two weeks. This is our first Workaway and it was a great experience!! Ted, Shao Mai and Kaylan are a very kind and helping family. Baby Kaylan is funny and smart (mei mei ^^) Thanks to Shao Mai for these meals, we won't forget your cinnamon rolls and your cheesecakes! The work is very varied, we helped him on his farm with containers (removing rust and painting), planting trees, and also tidying up his workshop, his house, his garden (clearing brush, pruning trees, etc.). We even opened his bar one evening. We also took care of these two adorable cats (GamGam and Shadow) The Taiwanese are very nice, and Penghu is a pretty island with lots of beautiful things to see. We hope that Ted, you will succeed in realizing all your beautiful ideas around your home. We wish you to continue to be happy!

It was so nice to get to know Myra. I'm really glad we found the time to have this experience (even if it was a short one). She received me with a lot of care, attention and open heart. We shared most of our meals and cooked together sometimes. We went for very nice walks in the nearby villages and woods, full of so interesting conversations. She has a lot to share and she's very generous. We painted a room together, my little contribuition for this project. I hope we can meet again. Thank you and até logo :)

We loved the time we spend at Tessa's little farm! It is so good to see animals so happy and healthy, after seeing so many bad cases during our travels in morocco. We loved the routines, feeding animals in the morning and afternoon. Especially walking the old donkey to its habitat in the end of the day and taking all the dogs for a walk afterwards. The animals had their own caracters, we bonded with them quickly. It is a beautiful house in a quiet surroundings with a few other volunteers, it is good if you have some work or things to do for yourself. A car or bike is recommendable so you can go out to Essaouira, otherwise you need to take taxis. Thank you Tessa for your effort and love for these beautiful animals! xx

My time with the charity was so special. Beth and Marcus are very kind hosts and made my trip to the west very comfortable. I worked with Beth on some charity work that was more office-oriented and it was very enjoyable. Beth is super knowledgeable and we had many great conversations while also getting the tasks done proactively. If you are thinking of visiting the west of Ireland this is such a great place to do it. Beth drove me to bus stations and gave the best recommendations. The area is great of hikers and people who want to experience nature. I highly recommend this work away! Thank you Beth and Marcus!

Very kind and welcoming community, taking great care that the work or community life doesn't get too overwhelming and very open. I had a very interesting 10 days stay at the monastery and learnt a great deal as well as had some Fun and felt very welcome. Thanks again 🙏

Fue un la gran oportunidad colaborar en la finca de cacao de Roli y Nelia y alojarme con ellos en Omoa. La convivencia con ellos y la familia de Nelia en Omoa fue muy agradable. Me sentí muy bien recibido y cuidado y tuve algunas interesantes conversaciones con ellos. Además, yo acababa de entrar a Honduras y fue un privilegio poder comenzar conociendo a una familia local en Omoa, que es un pueblo costero en el que no creo haber visto a ningún otro extranjero y con una playa agradable y unas puestas de sol estraorsinarias. El trabajo en la finca era intenso y realizado bajo un sofocante calor, pero me gustó mucho poder conocer parte del proceso necesario para la obtención del preciado cacao. Todos son muy trabajadores y yo traté de no ser menos, pese a mi limitados conocimientos y capacidad para trabajar en una finca. Muy recomendable roda la experiencia Gracias a toda la familia.

Sol was a valuable member of our household for 3 months. My daughter and Mum loved her company and she supported them both very well. Sol is an enthusiastic volunteer and reliable, she’s also a very calming influence to have living with you. We would welcome Sol back to live with us again and highly recommend her.

Monte is a kind of friend that every big farm should have one ! he is a great observer , and being knowledgeable about many things , he immediately sees the things that must be corrected, repaired , or get done from the beginning. I just showed him the broken nursery structure and he constructed the nursery from the beginning, so strong and so nice . he is not doing what he is doing just for the sake of doing but he does it with his heart , he is an artist . he says , it should look good also :) because i have a crazy huge land and millions of things to do and so i don’t have enough time to do all those tasks and so i am always in hurry and so i am a functionalist but he is a perfectionist , whatever he does , it’s a piece of art ! i liked to talk about any and many things with him sharing a bottle of beer . my forest will always remember you my friend with the beautiful traces that you left in the forest . welcome always..

Abdul is an remarkable person . He is kind, intelligent, social and a thoughtful person. Abdul was both willing, enthusiastic and capable with a great “ get to it” work ethic . He made a difference helping with labor intensive Spring property maintance and managed and a much needed spring burn safely. He helped me prep for an event and eased my task load. What a fun and easy going guy to host! He was independent in his off time, is a seasoned traveler who enjoyed our area and adapted to a homestay with apparent ease. I highly recommend Abdul.

We had wonderfuls times at Thomas' home, the days happened very quickly and we felt like home. Thomas is a great person, quiet, patient and very generous. Also has really good ideas to share about a sostenible life and take care the nature. We had interested talks, shared great meals (Thomas is a great cooker) and became good friends. Also, we enjoy the work, the exchange of lenguages and spend time with Alba, a really funny and independient baby girl. Leo, the Thomas' dog, was a great company too, very polite and cherful. Thomas is passionate about music, he taught us some notes and rhythms on the guitar, bass and drums. Thank you Thomas for such great days! We hope that all your projects come true and we hope to see you soon!
