Lino was an exceptional helper during his time with us. He learned new tasks very quickly and always performed them with great care. His work ethic was consistently strong, and he approached every assignment with enthusiasm. He was reliable and could always be counted on to complete his duties on time. He communicated clearly and was easy to work with. His positive attitude made a noticeable difference in our daily routines. He contributed greatly to both our work environment and household tasks. He was respectful, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile whenever needed. We truly appreciated his dedication and support. We would gladly work with him again in the future.

It was such a pleasure to have this family stay with us for a while. We all felt in love with Jano, their eight-month-old son. And we enjoyed their wonderful, free-spirited approach to parenting. It was so easy. It was so delightful to have a baby around. Archi is a very sweet, tough, and easygoing woman. She painted a beautiful stone for the garden and often cooked delicious meals, but she also did a lot of physical work, such as harvesting sweet potatoes. And we also enjoyed Hannes' company very much. Together with Antonio, he built a beautiful stairway, which involved a lot of sweat, but he continued regardless. He was always helpful, thought along with us, asked wonderful questions, and was able to go into depth. He also plays the guitar beautifully and bakes the most delicious pizzas and bread! We felt very sad that they had to leave.

We spent an amazing 10 days at Mr Singhs. This was our first Workaway in India and it was a great chance to begin adjusting to the country. Everybody at the hotel is super friendly and always happy to see you. We will dearly miss the team and Mr Singh himself. Our work was mainly helping with large groups of guests at the weekend. This is an opportunity to meet people from all over India, who will be excited to speak to you. It’s easy to go for days out in Amritsar. Plus, we went on a trip to the border which our friends kindly organised for us. The parade is unmissable!

My partner and I had a lovely week staying at Merilee’s in our self contained bus. She gave us a few options of jobs to complete in our own time. During our weeks stay, we completed building a surfboard rack, a private outdoor shower and toilet. We had lots of fun doing it and enjoyed getting to share surf stories and surf knowledge with Merilee.

I had my first Workaway with Jennifer and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Communication was excellent from start to finish, which made me feel welcome and at ease right away. Macleay Island is beautiful, and Jennifer went out of her way to show me around — from beach sunsets and yoga to meeting locals at community events. She even organized an overnight trip to Stradbroke Island, which was unforgettable. Her shared apartment is new, clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My room was spacious with fresh towels, and the kitchen was spotless. The work was fair and enjoyable; I mainly did gardening like cutting bamboo and clearing space for crops. Jennifer never asked for long hours and even encouraged me to finish early to enjoy the island. Jennifer is kind, generous, well-traveled, and full of great stories — plus she makes amazing smoothies and salads. I also met Antony, who was lovely and working hard to help improve the home. My only regret was not staying longer!

We first met Zsolti, Ildi and cute little Marci during a hike where they provided a place for us to stay for the night and welcomed us with delicious homemade goodies. After that I went back for a week and it was an amazing experience, working, being outdoors and I truly felt like I'm a part of their family, they are just so easygoing and cool people, I had fun with their friends and family also. My accommodation was the best ever with a nice warm furnace and a comfy bed with bathroom where I had my little cute private place to read the books I borrowed from Ildi. Honestly I didn't even feel like working cause I had amazing conversations with Zsolt during and learned a lot about gardening and DIY works. Marci is the cutest kid ever and I am honored that he kinda learned to say my name 😍 I had fun babysitting him, and had big long playtimes together. I find them extremely helpful in every way possible, showing me around the area, the famous Stupa and the Buddhist meditational place is a magical area which is only 25 minutes from them, They even brought me bouldering which I might got addicted to. Oh and they make the best coffee ever, so even if you don’t like coffee you will like the one they make. Looking forward to our next meet.

Victoria has been a much appreciated workaway. She is curious, talented, has a cheerful mind and works very well. During the four weeks she was on the farm, she worked with painting fences, gardening, caring for the sheep, pressing apples, cooking, and a long list of other things. She is also artistic and has contributed to the decoration of the farm. It was the first painting on the “Star Wall” that will be built with all the signs of the zodiac. I can really recommend Victoria.

Since I arrived Tone had his hand wide open to welcome me. He is an intellectual, he likes new ideas and to adopt new ways of doing things. Very open communication.He is spiritually aware and a good listener🙏. I had a great time there. We did so many remarkable projects together and with others. Absolutely it takes my level one step higher. The place is beautiful, I interacted with the astonishing nature, with koalas and kookaburras and so many types of snakes. Staying with Cam and Bill was an awesome experience. Their farm is in a heavenly pretty place in the nature. You can go for lovley walks through the forest or to a near viewpoint (especially at sunset). If you like Birdwatching u will have a blast. Also having diner together every night was exciting and we had a lot of interesting conversations. The beach is not very far and thay have a pool. There are plenty beautiful hikes nearby. Also they let you use their workawayer car! Workwise its very straight forward: 5 hours 5 days/week, what we found is a fair deal. Cam and Bill are warm, kind and caring- high energy- humanbeings. We highly recommend staying with them! Thank you for having us!

Dorota (or Dorothy as we called her) was an absolute pleasure to host. We truly enjoyed having her stay with us for two weeks. She is a mature and thoughtful young woman, very interesting to talk to and with a great sense of humor. She is also a very hard worker. She got on well with every member of the family, and she was lovely with our dog and cat. We would have her back at any time.

My stay was absolutely amazing! Tom and Hollie are very thoughtful hosts and above all lovely people! From the moment I was greeted at the gate, I felt super welcome and comfortable. It is a beautiful place with abundant wildlife - I don't think I'll need to visit any national parks in Costa Rica, because the garden here felt like a zoo.. I could see toucans and monkeys from my bed, had hummingbirds flying around my head during yoga, admired sloths while having breakfast and let's not forget the company of adorable cats Uvita and Macarela. My two week stay was exactly what I needed to recharge my batteries and a perfect balance between socializing and having the time for myself. We did lots of fun things together - went to the beach, had movie nights, played pickleball with the local community (super fun!), hiked to the waterfalls and had lovely dinners every night, which were the highlights of the day. Hollie's meals were a treat, prepared with love and care and I felt like I was served by a private chef. We shared travel stories over food and I was always amazed by the adventures they've had since arriving to Costa Rica. It was really inspiring to learn how they keep creating the lifestyle they want for themselves. I loved waking up at sunrise and going to bed early, which felt awesome and enabled me to have plenty of free time. My work tasks included pruning, repotting plants, cleaning around the house, harvesting turmeric, refilling soap and nut butter.. never repetitive and Tom and Hollie made sure I wasn't working in the sun or rain. The humidity makes everything more tiring but I got used to it after a few days and starting early really helped. I would highly recommend staying with Hollie and Tom if you get the opportunity; definitely an unforgettable stay in Costa Rica and one that will be very hard to top. We had such a lovely time with Sergei, he’s really easygoing, down to earth, and happy. He has a certain calm about him that is contagious, always smiling, always with good positive vibes. He’s a good worker, he did a great job caring for the animals and also went above and beyond helping us with some extra projects. We had a tiny house to build and Sergei worked really hard to help get it done, in the hot sun, and he never complained about it. We had a party and he cooked a thousand falafels, again, with a calm grace about him and a big smile 😊 He’s great with kids, our daughter spent lots of time with him, wandering around the garden, chatting like old friends, playing drum together, having fun… I highly recommend Sergei, he’s trustworthy, easygoing, friendly and dedicated to his work. He understands and respects personal space too. We’d be happy to host him again 🥰

I stayed for two weeks with Alva, Duncan, and their family, and let me tell you I was really emotional when I left. It was my first Workaway experience and my first time in Australia, and I couldn’t have hoped for anything better. Their welcome was incredibly warm. Alva and Duncan are very accommodating and even offered to drive us into town every day so we could explore the area. The place itself is beautiful and peaceful, with stunning sunsets. I was able to help out in the hay fields and with the housekeeping for the glamping site. I highly recommend this Workaway experience without hesitation. Thank you again for welcoming me. Rivka 🫶

We spent three wonderful weeks with Lorraine, Arnie and Ben, and we would like to thank them from the bottom of our hearts for their exceptional hospitality. It was our very first Workaway experience, and we couldn't have dreamed of a better way to start. From the moment we arrived, the whole family made us feel at home and took care of us throughout our stay. Working for them was a real pleasure. They always showed their appreciation for every little task we completed, which made the experience even more motivating and enjoyable. Their kindness, trust and goodwill made this first Workaway an experience we will always remember fondly. Erick was an amazing volunteer and a great addition to our team. He is very active, energetic, and always brings a positive vibe wherever he goes. He’s also an excellent cook — he helped us so much with our family dinners and always made them special. Erick contributed great ideas, took real care of the space, and consistently made the hostel better. He has that warm South American soul that makes everyone feel welcome and comfortable. We truly enjoyed having him with us and highly recommend him to any host.

Anna was truly a blessing to have at our wake park , she is an absolute gem. Her smile, her warmth, and her willingness to help in every moment brought such a beautiful, positive energy to our place. She learned everything so quickly and handled every task with grace , from training guests, keeping the park clean and organized, helping with operations, to supporting daily maintenance. Whatever we asked, she did it with enthusiasm, sincerity, and so much heart. She’s incredibly efficient and always gives her best. Her morning yoga sessions were something special (Kundilini yoga ) filled with calmness, energy, and so much positivity. They set the perfect tone for the day, not just for us but for everyone around.She also have deep knowledge about spritual stuff ,we learned a lot from her , What we loved most about Anna was her commitment to doing things the right way. She truly cares about the quality of her work, she’s thoughtful, and always looking for ways to help without being asked. Her cheerful presence made every day brighter, and our guests felt instantly comfortable and welcomed by her. We would welcome Anna back anytime, with open arms. She comes with our highest recommendation any host would be lucky to have her, and she will undoubtedly bring value, positivity, and love wherever she goes.

We loved our stay with Kyle, Monica, Harrison and Hudson. We were welcomed with a lovely bbq and some of their very interesting and lovely friends. Their home reared cow was delicious and as close to low air miles as it gets! Monica's food was always healthy and delicious. They truly made us feel welcome and part of their lovely little family. We stayed in a beautiful spacious bell tent nestled in the trees with an an enormous bed with a great bed frame Kyle made! Glowworms and stars are an absolute treat. We learned so much from them both about trees, plants, woodwork, horticulture, food forest, land management and so much more! We loved leaving our little mark on their special land by helping out where we could. The highlight was the bridge we built in the bush. Made us quite proud! Thanks to Kyle for trusting us with his wood and tools. And what a bonus to spend time with a truly friendly and lovely dog and the most smiley and smartest one year old we've ever met!

It was a pleasure having Hugo come and stay with us. He is a respectful, thoughtful, conscientious and punctual young men. He followed instructions well and put effort into the tasks we asked him to do. There was a lot achieved in our garden with his help. We appreciated how he was quick to help cleaning up after meals and offering his help in our home.
