My experience with Nicky was great! He's such a great guy, will guide you through your all experience. Gozo is a beautiful and quiet island, where time seems to stop, spent there amaaazing six weeks!

Petras joined our family in Tuscany for 2 weeks to help with olive picking and other activities (mostly in the field). His help was invaluable and his attitude respectful and polite. We wish we could host him again in the future and recommend him to any workaway host.

Thank you very much, Mario, for the permaculture experience you introduced us to. Stromboli is a lovely little island with sunshine (even at the end of November). We built a raised bed for the potatoes with Mario and then fill in it with compost. We cut the bamboo and other plants, then shredded them to create precious compost for the hard-working coworkers 🪱🪱🪱🐛🪱 . we planted corriander seeds ... Mario took us up to observe the volcano’s eruption. ( an unique expérience ) We ate fresh and very healthy food from his garden : salads, homemade bread, homemade yogurt, vanilla gelato from Madagascar, homemade granita, etc. He also introduced me to his friends (Eliana, Béa, André, Gaetano, …).👋 and the boss : Franco Thank you Mario for this beoutifull expérience 🤌🤌🤌🤣 kamuriaaa..

Seb & Sofia were valuable additions to our team. They were helpful, diligent, good commitment to their work, easy communication and reliable. They were both very friendly, proactive, caught on quickly to the duties at hand and kind to not only our guests but also our pets! We would highly recommend Seb & Sofia as additions to any team ! I spend 10 days in this beautiful paradies like place with beautiful people. Surrounded from nature working in the Land was very nice, sometimes harder work, but always good. It is a peaceful place to balance work and relaxing (at the river). The food is amazing (vegetarian/ vegan is possible). Thanks to Ivan and Adrian for always being helpful and for all the nice talks we shared. I really enjoyed my stay there and can recommend it.

My time with Hillary has been truly amazing, she is very kind and fun to hang out with, the dogs are very cute and the house is beautiful! The neighborhood and the surrounding towns are lovely and Hillary was an amazing tour guide with a lot of knowledge about the history and culture. If you are mature and responsible, I highly recommend visiting..

Being with such a wonderful family like Germana, Giuseppe, and Andrea has been an incredible experience. They have always been very attentive to us, and we had the opportunity to enjoy unique moments, like picking olives, an activity that both my mom and I loved it was amazing! I also enjoyed taking care of Andrea, a very intelligent boy who loves Pokémon and dinosaurs. We even had the chance to teach him some Spanish, as he has that course at school, and it was impressive how quickly he learns. I really appreciated their help with practicing Italian, since I hadn’t spoken it in a long time, and I am also grateful that they always included us in everything, from dinners preparing delicious dishes we truly enjoyed to even introducing us to Germana’s friends. I am deeply thankful to Germana, Giuseppe, and Andrea for choosing us and for all the thoughtful gestures, like setting up the desk and TV in our room. I will always remember this experience and hope to see them soon, whether in Peru or Italy ❤️

Leo and Lisa stayed with me for a month, and they have been a big help to me. I asked them to do some things I didnt want to do myself that needed more attention and endurance than many other things, and they managed wonderfully. What a laugh when they found out that the screw needed to be turned to the opposite direction in order to unscrew it! They were good fun to be around, they were careful and responsible in their tasks, worked efficiently and the few times I let them cook the meals were very delicious. I would have them back any time. All the best for your onwards travels

I just spent a month with Iris and Dirk and I had a truly wonderful time. Iris and Dirk are both very open-minded, communicative and welcoming people and made me feel at home from the first moment. The ranch is surrounded by a beautiful landscape and all their animals are lovely. My workday usually started at 8 and ended by 4/4:30 with coffee and lunch breaks in between. My tasks included giving the dogs food, painting, building things with wood and sanding boards. I learned a lot of hard skills but also gained a lot of knowledge on biological nutrition, ecology and self-sufficiency. All in all an amazing experience that I will long look back to. :)

My time at Paradise Ranch with Tamara and Enrique was absolutely amazing – it truly felt like a little paradise. The two weeks I spent there went by so quickly, simply because I felt at home from the very first moment. They made me feel like part of the family, which made my stay incredibly special. I helped out around the house and spent lots of time with the kids – both full of energy, incredibly sweet, and such a joy to be around. I also got the chance to help with the animals and even go riding, which I loved, especially since I already had some riding experience. I always knew I could take a break or some time for myself whenever I wanted, and I really appreciated having that freedom. We also went on little trips now and then, to the beach or to nearby towns, which made everything even more fun and added some variety to my days. I was able to fully unwind on the ranch, recharge, and feel completely at ease. What inspired me most was seeing how passionate Tamara and Enrique are about their vision for the ranch. They are truly inspiring people, and I’m excited to see how their plans and dreams will continue to grow and take shape. It was a beautiful experience that I wouldn’t want to miss – and one thing is certain: I will definitely be back.

Marek stayed with us for three weeks, and it was a truly great experience having him here. He is a very nice, polite, and friendly person, and he quickly became part of our team. Marek is hardworking, independent, and always willing to help. He completed every task very well and with a positive attitude. We had a lot of fun together, and it was a real pleasure to work with him. We highly recommend Marek as a volunteer and would be happy to welcome him again anytime.

I had an amazing stay at Wim & Eli's. I think the spirit of workaway is truly embedded at their place and I've never felt so good contributing to a project. I appreciated the complete flexibility regarding food. I think it's remarkable how you share everything. This applies also to the shared rooms concept. Me being able to meditate in Niels's office from time to time made me feel very accomodated. I deeply appreciated there were almost no demands or hard expectations. It made me really want to clean the kitchen, play with Adan, do other small tasks. Also the fact that you left the interpretation of the task so free made it possible to work very creatively and satisfyingly. I love how you are able to host very different kinds of people. I love how much care you put into your home, the things you do. I loved the list of tasks. I really liked all of the people around you that came to visit. I really enjoyed the many side quests (helping Guido with the house, Wout with cooking, Wim with gardening etc.). I appreciate you for being flexible with my arrival time. I really appreciate the effort you took to make the final evening nice with a little closing ritual. I wish you would have told us more seriously about the performance at the end. I would have really loved to actually spend effort to make something. While I liked your humour to make fun of stuff quite a bit, it would have been nice if you would have been able to go bacj to seriousness afterwards (I didn't really feel heard when telling stories that were important to me sometimes). I also sometimes felt it was hard to connect to you because you are so busy with adan & life. To Eli: I appreciate the personal stories you told us. I appreciate how freely you let us play with Adan. I respect in general how you are raising him, with so much care & attention. I appreciate your interest in us and I appreciate your honesty about my music taste :)) I resent you for not allowing me to babysit (which I can umderstanrd) and for not communicating honestly about it (which I think you could improve on by either being clear about it in advance or having let me know at some point why you didn't want me specifically to babysit (I still don't know for sure)). I would have loved to learn about this and get experience with it. To Wim: I really appreciate the knowledge you shared with me about long distance hiking and about woodcarving as well as various other topics. I appreciate your humour. I felt supported when you took us to the ramp and told us it was a good day for hitchhiking. I found it beautiful to see how much love you were giving to adan. I found it very interesting to hear about your job. I found it cool that you expressed boundaries (not wanting us to make a fire when were alone). I think you have a beautiful english accent :) I resent you for telling me I was cutting onions the wrong way. There is more, also for the others, but this will be it for now. Yeah, so all in all. I love the vibe you create. The projects you are working on. The influence you are exerting on this world. Großartige Unterstützung :-) Wir hatten das große Glück, Gabriel von April bis Oktober als Workawayer bei uns zu begrüßen. Er war eine enorme Bereicherung für unser Team und unseren Platz. Gabriel hat uns in verschiedenen Bereichen unterstützt: Housekeeping, Reinigung, Gartenarbeit, Einkäufe, Malerarbeiten. Gabriel hat zusätzlich für das Team gekocht – unglaublich kreativ und abwechslungsreich, mit ganz wenigen Ausnahmen gab es jeden Tag ein neues Gericht. Er war sehr zuverlässig, hat sehr sorgfältig gearbeitet und sich schnell in unsere Campingfamilie integriert. Auch im Umgang mit Gästen war er super offen, herzlich, immer freundlich. Der kulturelle Austausch mit Gabriel war großartig – er zeigte großes Interesse an unserer Arbeit, den Gästen, aber auch an den Menschen, die hier leben und der Umgebung. Wir würden ihn jederzeit wieder willkommen heißen und können ihn wärmstens weiterempfehlen! Great support :-) We were very lucky to welcome Gabriel as a Workawayer from April to October. He was a tremendous asset to our team and our place. Gabriel supported us in various areas: housekeeping, cleaning, gardening, shopping, painting. Gabriel also cooked for the team – incredibly creative and varied, with very few exceptions, there was a new dish every day. He was very reliable, worked very carefully and quickly integrated into our camping family. He was also very open, warm and always friendly when dealing with guests.The cultural exchange with Gabriel was great – he showed great interest in our work, the guests, but also in the people who live here and the surrounding area. We would welcome him back anytime and can highly recommend him!

It was a blast! Rachel & Joshua stayed with us for two weeks in October in between the grape and the olive harvest. They helped us with tasks such as general maintenance, pressing the grape skins and getting rid of them in the field (one of Rachel's favourite things to do) and lots of seed picking in idle moments. They helped us prepare for the olive harvest and during the harvest itself. We enjoyed every moment, every fun story and every meal together. We would recommend Rachel and Joshua for other hosts in search of a very kind and positive help!

Thank you so much to this awesome family for the unforgettable experience they allowed me to live ! I stayed with them for three weeks, and it was honestly one of the most enriching and amazing experiences of my life. I learned so much about their culture, their habits, and who they are as people. From day one, I was treated as a real member of the family, which made me feel incredibly comfortable. Saira and Syed were always caring and attentive to how I was feeling during my stay. They are incredible parents and truly amazing human beings. I loved spending time with the kids, going to the swimming pool, playing basketball, and even cooking together. If you're thinking about staying with Saira's family for a while, stop thinking, you should definitely go !

Wir hatten das Vergnügen Roel zwei Wochen bei uns zu haben. Die Ruhe die er ausstrahlt haben wir ebenso genossen wie seine Bereitschaft kräftig mit anzupacken. Es war uns eine Freude ihn hierzuhaben und er wird uns immer willkommen sein.

J’ai passé cinq semaines magnifiques à l’abbaye. J’ai été accueilli au sein d’une communauté chaleureuse et généreuse, et j’ai beaucoup apprécié l’occasion de mieux connaître chacun lors des repas et du travail partagé, en écoutant leurs histoires inspirantes. Travailler aux côtés des frères et sœurs a été à la fois très agréable et varié, et cela m’a offert une excellente occasion d’améliorer mon français. Merci à vous tous ; j’ai hâte de revenir un jour.

Tom and Claire are an exceptionally polite, calm, and reliable couple. They worked with great precision, independence, and care, helping with the construction of the wooden shelter and various tasks around the property and workshop, always leaving everything clean and well-organized. It was truly a pleasure to spend time with them — they are warm, respectful, and very easy to be around. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any future host.

Even though Santi-Yami became a part of our family for a short time, we got a chance to learn a lot from them. This couple is very cheerful and friendly. Our children got inspiration from them to be conscious about their health. We got a chance to understand each other's culture and lifestyle.
