Hi I'm Sasha! I'm 19 and am currently taking a gap year before going to uni to study Zoology in September 2024. I have a passion for being outside and working with animals and have lots of babysitting and petsitting experience, including horses, rodents and dogs.

I love to travel and am looking forward to visiting New Zealand and Australia and meeting new people and experiencing new cultures. I enjoy being outside, being busy and getting stuck in :)

While at secondary I learned Spanish to a low level, however while in college I began teaching myself Dutch. My knowledge of both is now extremely basic, however if the opportunity arose I would love to learn more of these languages as I think they are both very beautiful.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have lots of experience with animals including cats, dogs, horses and rodents- I work at my local riding school as a yard supervisor, responsible for opening the yard in the morning, bringing the horses in, getting them ready for lessons, poo-picking, feeding etc. I also do pet-sitting for several different families, doing live-in pet sits for periods of up to two weeks.

I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and enjoy focusing on set tasks and being outdoors. I regularly cook meals for my family and have for many years loved baking and growing vegetables in our garden.

I am currently employed at a supermarket, I previously worked in a bakery for two years and in a pub for one year. Last summer I traveled solo around Europe for a month and loved experiencing different cultures and meeting people I would never have met otherwise.

What I am looking for is an opportunity to see the natural beauty that other countries have to offer, while meeting new people and experiencing other people's way of living.
