Hello and Welcome to our Workaway account!
We are a couple from Lithuania, who got just recently married In January and decided to turn our world around and travel to different part of the globe and seek for a new adventures. We are young, yet living in a constant routine left us feeling as our life is starting to slip from our hands, so we took our courage and went for a journey for world and self-exploration.
Back at home, we lived in the capital city of Lithuania- Vilnius. (I know you probably did not heard of it, but its amazing). During our early 20s we spent our time studying at the universities - Lukas Is an automotive engineering bachelor and Beatrice is a psychology bachelor who is on her way to get masters degree. Also, Lukas have been on career path and worked most of his life at a Porsche dealership - iconic manufacturer with thrilling pieces of engineering has a special place in his heart.

For this adventure learning, personal growth and broadening of our world view are huge motivators for us, but also we would like to have some fun on the way :)
As from a workers perspective, we are reliable, hardworking and would love to engage in everything that you have to offer as we are focused on helping our hosts and learning new new skills on the way.
Making connections with people is also incredibly fulfilling for us. We enjoy engaging in genuine conversations and cultural exchanges but also we love to joke around and have a good laugh.
As for our free time, we love to cook, spending our time in nature, hiking, cycling and everything that involves water - swimming, diving, kayaking, surfing...

We would be happy to share our knowledge about Lithuania, Its history, culture and being foodies- we can make traditional food for you. :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We are hard working couple with various skills. Back there in Lithuania, we lived in a small village and had little garden with few chickens, so we have some experience in living outside the city. We really enjoyed to do some DIY projects for our better living and live zero waste as much as we can.
Lukas is an automotive engineer so tech is his strong side. Also, he has some experience in various farming jobs, construction, gardening and cooking.
Beatrice is a psychology student, who loves to cook, is a quick learner, has skills in household maintenance, gardening, working with kids and animals. She has a lot experience in hospitality, also she worked as housekeeper and as baby sitter.

Our hobbies are various outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, camping. Also we like playing board games, sightseeing, road trips.
