Hi! My name is Lauren, and I am a college student from the US. I study nutrition and medicine in my classes, but I also have a love for learning about other cultures. I am fascinated by other languages and cuisines. To me, traveling is about learning what it is like to live in another place, and I hope to learn more than the typical tourist.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending my time doing anything active: swimming, running, hiking, etc. My favorite hobby is cooking, and I have learned to make dishes from many different cuisines and want to continue expanding my abilities in the kitchen. I also spend my time volunteering and working part-time jobs. I have experience working as an English tutor, working in a kitchen, working in a residential setting, and being a lifeguard.

I would consider myself an independent and adventurous person who is always planning for the future. I will be taking a gap year before medical school, and I am hoping to travel a lot during that time!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked as a spoken English tutor with international students at my university for two years. I also have previous part-time job experiences as a lifeguard, babysitting, and working at a doctor's office. Growing up with two younger siblings, I also have lots of experience with children! I consider myself a good cook, and I have worked as a teaching assistant for cooking classes. I can lend a hand with household chores and outdoor work.
