In march I'm beginning my first solo travel in South America. My plan is to start in Colombia and later I'm open to anything life will put in front of me :)

Description

Who am I?
Honestly, it's a really difficult question for me at the moment... (And also I believe, to define is to limit... ) So much has happened and changed in my life during the last few months that now I'm completely rediscovering myself. But some things haven't changed at all since I can remember:
I'm in love with life, I love people and I love helping them in any way I can.

What am I like?
I'm interested in self-development and spirituality. I meditate a lot and try to be the best version of myself everyday. Everyday I learn to be more and more authentic, open-minded and not judgemental towards others. We are all so different and I believe that when we really want to understand each other, anything is possible! That's why I love connecting with other people and deep, honest talks with them about our unique human experiences, struggles, excitements, actually about everything if there's a will to listen...
We all are driving each other home and it's so beautiful for me that we can do so much good together. That's also why I love helping others so much and I try to be very patient, empathetic and understanding every day.

What activities I love doing?
Besides living in general hahah I love doing yoga, swimming, sailing, diving, climbing, singing, dancing... Actually I love doing a lot of things, but moving my body, being with others and in nature are definitely my favourite ones :)

What is my plan?
During the next few months I plan to travel in South and Central America. I have just felt the calling and deep need to reconnect with myself, nature and other people, I crave for authenticity... And I deeply feel that for some reason this is the best place for me to experience all of that. I would love to take part in some volunteering, I'm open actually to any opportunity! I'm willing to learn a lot of new things and am not afraid of challenges.
I would also highly appreciate a possibility to learn Spanish, as I've recently completetly fell in love with the language.
I'm open for long-time as well as short-time volunteering :)

I love learning languages. I have never been a language teacher ( I only was helping my friends with English), but I have Cambridge English Advanced Certificate (CAE) which formally allows me to teach English. I have no idea how I would cope with a role of teacher, but I would definitely love to try! I'm very empathetic and patient person and also love working with people in general :) Of course as I'm native polish speaker I'd also be able to teach polish if anyone is interested :D Besides polish and english, I used to learn German and know some basics. Now I completely fell in love with spanish and I've been learning it intensively for a few months now. I think my Spanish level is more than beginner, but less than intermediate hahah :D Mi resolución es hablar español con fluidez para finales de este año.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I did my Bachelor's degree in chemistry and forensic toxicology, but I guess there won't be a lot of people on Workaway who seek help in their lab hahah... But if my laboratory skills could be somehow useful, I'm at your service! Later I did my Master's degree in Data Analysis.

I used to work as a lifeguard- I am a certified lifeguard and I love swimming. When it comes to water activities I've also been sailing since I was a child and I have a sailing license.

Regarding my job experience. My first job was customer service specialst and later for the last two years I was working as a Medical Representative in a medical devices industry- my job was teaching and providing training to doctors, nurses and technician and also supporting them during cardiologic operations.


When it comes to my "artistic" side- I was attending music school for 6 years, I play piano and sing. I also used to do some handcrafts like decoupage, stained glass and linocut, but it was quite a long time ago and I think that those skills may be out of order right now hahah.


To sum up, unfortunately I don't think I have a lot of hands-on skills, as my job was mainly theoretical and scientifical, but I really love learning new things and believe I can do that really quickly ( I had to become an expert in cardiologic field in a few months and heard from my managers I cope with that really well). I would love to learn some more 'hands-on' skills.
Besides, I am always eager to help and open to new experiences. Also, as I love getting out of comfort zone, I love challenges and I'm not afraid of any work :)
