Hi all,

I am Dora from Hungary. Here to connect with NGOs and communities from all over the world. 🙋🏻‍♀️

A little bit about me👇🏻

🔸 After spending more than a decade in the corporate world I decided to quit my job and build a life that is more aligned with my values. I have recently spent 6 weeks in Sri Lanka through Workaway and discovered how much new places, people and cultures inspire me. Now I am looking for ways to make social impact while traveling around the world.

🔸I LOVE teaching and working both with children and adult groups. I am a psychology graduate, coach and I am currently in the 3rd year of an art therapy training course. I’d like to use my skills and experience in places where people need them the most.

🔸 I like meeting new people and listening to their stories. I love good music, watching movies, spending time in nature and sharing these experiences with friends. Although I am a sociable person I like spending time alone, doing yoga and meditation. I am also a self-development nerd and love learning about the human mind, body and soul.

🔸 I bring passion, creativity and energy into everything I do. Feel free to reach out if your NGO / community could benefit from my support.

I used to tutor children (age 14-16) during university and it was definitely one of my best jobs. I loved preparing for the lessons and explaining grammar and vocabulary to my students. I speak English fluently and would love to find creative ways to teach English to children at a very young age.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a psychology graduate with corporate background (I used to work as a corporate trainer and human resources manager) so I am good at things that require:

🔸 planning and organization
🔸 communication
🔸 teaching
🔸 leadership
🔸 project management

I also have experience in:

👶 working with children: I spent 6 weeks in Sri Lanka teaching English to kids through art and play.
🐶 taking care of dogs: I am a dog owner myself. LOVE them!
🏡 maintenance: as a student job I worked in the maintenance team of a summer camp in the U.S.

💫 My dream volunteer job would be a combination of teaching, using art therapy and / or supporting an NGO with my business knowledge.
