Hey I'm Andi. I'd say I'm a handy guy and interested in all types of activities surrounding farming, building and cooking/food preservation. I'm an electrical engineer working in the field of solar energy to improve access to energy for those who do not have reliable electricity in the world. Last year my girlfriend Pia and I joined friends in their garden project and we've been building our knowledge on ecological gardening ever since.

Although I have never directly come in contact with the concept of regenerative agriculture, it fascinates me whenever I hear or read about it.

I love spending time in my garden and getting to know different principles for ecological gardening. But learning first hand from people who have been applying these concepts sounds amazing. The integration of animals into a farm is something that wouldn't be feasible to do in our garden, but since I love animals I would still like to learn about it (and maybe some day have animals myself! :)

My partner Pia and I are currently crossing the Atlantic from Europe to Brazil on a sail boat. The idea originated in the question of how to visit our friends and family in South America with the lowest possible ecological footprint and we are now experiencing this special voyage with all that it encompasses. We will reach Brazil by mid December '23 and then make our way to Ecuador step by step in the months to come.
