Description

Hello, I’m Anna and until recently I was based in Bristol, UK. I worked on a CSA there for two years, but I am now on a break from the busy seasons to learn about what I don’t know - particularly would love to focus on tree management (fruit but also agroforestry systems), growing grains and cereals, and seed saving.
I’m passionate about community organising and being somewhere where the politics of the wider agroecological movement, the struggle for food and social justice and the practical act of growing food are connected is very important to me.
I enjoy being in groups and working with people, I facilitated a series of community groups on the farm where I worked and would love to explore other ways of doing this.
Finally, I am from Italy but have been gone for nearly 11 years (other than family visits), so I am now back for 6 months to be able to connect to the community of farmers/growers/organisers back here.

i am an experienced food grower having completed my 5th season working on a sustainable vegetable farm. This year I was a head grower in collaboration with two others, working in a flat non hierarchical structure. I am passionate about worker coops and cooperative working models, food growing, cooking.
