Description
Hello! We are Ágota (30), Csongi (38) and Misi (born in July 2023), from Hungary.
We spent the last 4 years on our homestead:
˙ renovated our 150 years old cob house, built a side-building with only natural and reclaimed materials
˙ raised animals for meat (rabbit, chicken, ducks, pig)
˙ foraged for wild plants and mushrooms
˙ preserved crops, baked sourdough goods
˙ built furnaces, rocket mass heaters and wood-fired stoves
˙ learned various handcrafts (felting, spinning yarn, tablet weaving, sewing and crochet)

Now we feel ready to hit the road again to share these skills and experiences with others, learn new things and explore.

I had such a great time with Martin, Manu, Lena and Prinzo. This 1.5 week in April was full of care, joy, sunshine and relaxation.

In mid June, I've stayed with Krisz for a week or so. At that time in Bazsi, there was a -kind of- private festival for the Summer solstice (started by a group of friends, 5 years ago, since then growing and evolving every year), so the help was needed mostly there, to prepare, organize, cook, wash dishes, etc. for ~50people. Side-building we’ve built completely from ground up. Our outdoor shower :) anotjer bath tub is a raised bed. Pool for mixing adobe.

Roof tiles in adobe as flooring in our kitchen, done by us. The wood fired stove we use to cook and bake from autumn till spring.

Our living room, Csongi built the rocket mass heater, the flooring we did together.

I got the opportunity to stay with Ro, Jo and another volunteer for 4 days. They are warm-hearted and passionate people with the cutest animals, surrounded by a beautiful environment. We did some clay works together, it was so much fun. Having dinner at the campfire, under the Moon was an unforgettable experience.
