Hello!

My name is Zandy and I am 20 years old from Essex, England.

I have been working full time for the last 2 and a bit years at a local garden centre selling furniture. I have loved this job for many reasons; the people, the friends and the platform I feel it has given me to becoming more of an adult! I also work in the evenings for my local Papa Johns pizza as a delivery driver. So I am not afraid of a long day of hard work.

Whilst working two jobs and being lucky enough to live at home with my parents, I managed to save up and buy my pride and joy - Tina the Transit - my camper van. I have travelled all over the UK in my van: Wales, Scotland, the lakes and a few more using my annual leave at work. I now feel I am ready to explore further afield for longer periods of time.

While travelling I have learnt and explored more about my passions. I love hiking and being in nature. I enjoy meeting new people and gaining a fresh perspective on different outlooks on life.

I have a keen passion for music and have been playing the saxophone for the last 12 years.

I pride my self on my people skills, I am kind, calm, compassionate and easy going. I always aim to make people happy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have worked in sales for the last two and a half years.

Included in this job is a fair amount of manual labour. Ie: unloading and loading containers, organising warehouses, delivering furniture to customers houses

Also some technical skills ie: assembling furniture including wooden structures, merchandising showrooms, keeping areas clean and tidy, ordering stock, resolving customer problems.

I am also involved in the setting up and running of our Christmas department which involves : basic electric work, basic carpentry and joinery.

In my spare time I enjoy to play musical music instruments and I am very proud to have achieved grade 8 on the alto saxophone. I also enjoying playing several other instruments at an intermediate level.

Volunteer experience:

SEN school - while at college, age 17-18, I volunteered at a local Special needs school. This involved going around the classrooms playing music to the children and young adults

Football coach under 10 team - Here I spent Saturday mornings helping to train the team, managing behaviour and running drills and ensuring the boys got the most out of their time.


I was a part of UK scouting from the ages 8-17 and had a fantastic time. In 2019 I was lucky enough to be selected to go on the Word Scout Jamboree in West Virginia
