My name is Urška and I come from Slovenia. I am a very energetic and positive person, always looking for new experiences, adventures and challengesI
This year I decided to travel the world, which has always been my dream! But during my travel I also want to do something meaningful and experience different cultures in a local way. So that is way I am here!
I`m interested in almost all kind of opportunities. I love doing social work, as i love to work with children. Beside that I love nature, camping, animals, sports, languages, music, books...actually I am interested in all kind of stuff, I like to try new things and learn new skills - either a language, an instrument, cooking, anything! :D !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have a master's degree in sociology and I am also a social worker. For the past 5 years I have worked for a non-government organization Kings of the street in Slovenia, mostly on an antieviction program, in a day center for children and youth (mostly Romi children) and on a "Individualized and wholesome housing support for the homeless" program.
I have experience working with children (day center - organizing acitivies, teaching, but more on individual basis; childcare), families, elderly, people from socially disadvantaged and vulnerable groups (also Romi people), people with mental disabilities, homeless people, and in community work. I also have a lot of experience in gastronomy, because I used to work as a waitress (and on some gas stations) for many years in Slovenia and Austria.
Can cook, clean and and do all necessary things for life :D Don`t mind getting dirty or doing some pyshical work. I can also do quite a lot of things around home.
Currently getting a TEFL certfication for teaching English.
I have an intermediate knowledge of working with computers, databases,...
Can do pilates (traditional) and I am also a sports climber.
I play acoustic guitar - I would say I am an intermediate player :D
Always keen to learning and trying new things!!
