G’day fellow travelers, I'm Tom from Melbourne, Australia! I'm currently on an incredible adventure, traveling around and soaking in all the new experiences until next March. I like to consider myself someone who lives in the moment and goes with the flow, always open to new possibilities and embracing opportunities.

I find immense happiness in the simplest things in life and have a passion for lifelong learning. My love for philosophy encourages me to explore new perspectives and ideas, while my love for nature and the environment drives my studies in environmental science. And, what better way to unwind than to jam along with my mates by a campfire, surrounded by the beauty of the great outdoors.

Above all, my greatest source of joy is my family. They bring me insurmountable comfort and happiness, and I carry their values and lessons with me on all of my travels. I try not to take life too seriously and try to appreciate the beauty in each passing moment.

I'm thrilled to share my enthusiasm and love for life with you all! Excited to make the most of this amazing time in my life.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm currently taking a break from studying a Bachelor of Environmental Studies back home at RMIT University until next March. I have a lot of experience working in social settings, having worked in bars, clubs and kitchens, and I've interacted with and learned from a diverse range of people from all sorts of backgrounds. I'm all about adaptability, courtesy, respect and hard work is a given. You could say I'm a bit of an agriculture enthusiast too, given my experience working on a Christmas tree farm all year round back home, as well experience on various vineyards. Getting outdoors, rolling up my sleeves and getting my hands dirty is an experience I truly love.

Growing up in a household of two teachers inspired an appreciation for education and has given me plenty of experience working with children. This has shown me how to teach and engage curious and imaginative young minds. I value technological literacy in an ever-changing world, and I'm more than happy to show others the ropes.

In addition, I spent six years growing up in France and speak the language, although it's not something I like to brag about! I also spent four years growing up in Singapore.

Lastly, I'm more than used to general hard labour and am more than happy to lend a hand with anything handyman-related. With my mix of skills and can-do attitude, I'm ready to hit the ground running in any work exchange situation. I'm excited about building new relationships and seeing what the world has in store for me. Thank you for your consideration!
