Hello! We are a family of 4: Aghy (39), Franziska (3 3/4), Moritz (9 months) and me Theresa (36) lively in Vienna (Austria). We decided to spent our common parental leave abroad and since I had been using workaway in the past - when I was still a single traveller - we decided to try it once more as a family of four :)

As a family I would describe us as being easy-going and uncomplicated. We all possess lots of and different kind of useful skills; Aghy is good with computers, likes to craft for instance with wood, he has plenty fields of interest (coffee, bread making, pasta making, fermentation, wine, snooker, chess, darts etc.). He would like to grow herbs and vegetables, unfortunately we only have some windows to do that at home. Franziska loves to water flowers and plants, she also is a dedicated and fun player. From board games to hide and seek or playing dolls, she can do basically everything. Moritz skills are yet to be seen, he definitely brings happiness and laughter to our family. Myself I would describe as creative, I like to draw (although I rarely do it these days), I sew or crochet. In my professional life I am a German teacher. Down below is my description I used years ago, there is still truth to it, yet I am in a totally different phase of my life right now.

I have already lived abroad, mostly in French speaking countries, since that I have always felt the urge to go abroad again. I just finished my master and quit my job to turn my New Year Resolution “to travel more” into action. I am striving for challenges and change, always interested in learning something new. I am very active, passionate for running and dancing, sometimes an annoyingly early bird. I take pleasure in doing all kinds of work, from cleaning, gardening, painting, cooking even to more hard physical work I can do everything, most importantly - it is not in front of a computer. I am not afraid to make my hands dirty (even thought you might think I look like a girl)
I am outgoing and like to meet new people from all over the world, yet I sometimes enjoy being on my own.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

all kinds of creative stuff like drawing, painting or pottery, experienced with kids and young people, typical office management skills, organisation of events, holding of language courses (German, English), experienced with team buildings, language animation in intercultural youth exchanges and speech trainings, worked in catering and as a fund raiser.

My duration of stay depends on the location or the work however I would prefer to stay minimum 3-4 Weeks since I always find it a pity to move on even before getting settled. If I like a place and have the possibility to travel around next to work I could even imagine staying for three months.
