Just started my way in Europe, after few years in Asia and Oceania, looking to connect with like-minded people and get to know exiting projects and communities. Enjoying life in the nature.

Description

Hi! I'm Guille.
I try not to use labels but people have been calling me traveler, musician, builder, dancer, cyclist, nomad, envirolmentalist, minimalist, etc.
I just try to live simple, enjoy the moment, smile, and be mindful of my actions and how they impact the enviroment and other beings.

I've been part of this community for a couple of years before but I was using a shared account so I lost my feedback.
Most of my workaway expirience was on Asia (China, Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Laos, Myanmar) in Permaculture and ecobuilding projects. I also made some volunteering in Australia and New Zealand.

Everything I own is in my backpack and my money balance is not very shiny, but I feel I have all I need, I eat well, I'm healthy, I sleep warm and dry (most of the nigths ^^), I have friends and family, I'm not missing anything.
Life is beautiful, I feel free, I'm enjoying it most of the time but deep in my mind there is a feeling that this way of living is not going to last long if we, as specie, don't change the way we live.
I've been in places where the air is not easy to breath, the water is polluted, and the food is scarce.

I believe we have the power to change this dangerous path by changing our consumption and living in smaller local communities focused in food production and shared resources.

I'm here to help in all those projects that make a diference and are conscious about protecting the nature and the resources.
I'm also here to learn, and connect with people to keep expanding this network.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've been working these past years mostly in construction, recycling houses, making modifications, plumbing, and carpentry.
Working with wood and natural materials is what I enjoy the most.
I know how to handle most of powered and hand tools.
I took some workshops and I've been involved in ecobuilding with diferent types of systems and materials.

I've been working in several permaculture projects always contemplating the cycles and how to get the most out of the resources.
Allways willing to put my hands in the soil, plant and take care of all kinds of plants, I would love to improve my skills on this area as I feel I have a lot to learn, it's challenging because I travel a lot so I hardly see the full cycle of planting and harvesting and allways diferent climates and enviroments.

I make music, mostly percussion, drums, drumkit, cajon, pandeiro.
The last 2 years I've been playing african drums in dance classes.

I'm not a cheff, but I can definitely cook a good meal for many people using what we have.
Sometimes the harvest give us too much of one thing and I like to experiment and find ways to process that before is too late.

I enjoy being with kids and I always find it quite easy to take care of them if needed.

I studied System Ingeneering, and although I no longer feel that it is my thing and I haven't worked on it for a long time, I still have ease with electronics. I used to repair notebooks and cellphones.
