Hello :) we are two energetic people looking for a new adventure in our travels! We are excited to shake up our travels with WorkAway to connect with new communities and projects.

We left to travel to see the beauty in places, people and animals around the world, and learn about new ways of life. We have been together since 2019, and are often described as friendly and outgoing people. We are both open minded and friendly people ready to embrace any new opportunity. We are particularly interested in culture, sports, languages, content creation and nature.

Sofia:
Hi! I grew up in a small town named Ascot in the UK, and my family is from Mexico. Growing up with Mexican and British cultures, I've always been curious and open-minded about different ways of life. I'm incredibly excited and grateful for the opportunity to fulfill my dreams of traveling and meeting people from diverse cultures around the world. I believe that no matter the language barrier or where we come from, we can all connect!
I have experience in social media, web writing, and creative projects. I've also worked in teaching and hospitality and can speak both Spanish and English fluently.

James:
Hello, I'm from the South of England, and I have a deep love for the outdoors, adventure, traveling, sports, and reading.
Over the past three months, I've thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the uniqueness and beauty of each place we've visited, including Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea, and Cambodia. I'm also very excited about the idea of settling down for a month, giving back to a community, and delving deeper into a specific place's culture.

My experience includes law, writing, teaching, construction, and hospitality.

James
I studied law and international law. During my studies, I worked as part of a charity providing free legal aid to locals in need. After study, I worked in the field of environmental law. I am a skilled writer, critical thinker and will be very helpful in any content you would like written or reviewed. I also have experience in construction, teaching, and hospitality.

Sofia
I studied and worked as a social media and news article writer.

I am skilled at writing for the internet, developing adverts and developing social media plans. I am also an excellent project manager and have a very strategic approach.

I am creative and artistic, and enjoy making digital art. I am also practical, a quick learner and comfortable with practical tasks.

Together, we are excellent in any environment that involves problem solving, writing and developing content. We are also suited for practical projects where you’d need manual labour, team work and strategy. We also both have experience in teaching languages and study skills!
