Hi everyone!

My name is Marie and I'm 25 years old.

In France, I'm a nurse and I've been working in the emergency department for 4 years.
Now, I'm embarking on a big trip to New Zealand starting November 15, 2023 for certainly a year.

I began my journey in New Zealand by being welcomed into a family with 4 children (aged 10 to 2) and their mom. My job consisted mainly of looking after the children and taking care of the house. I really enjoyed this job.

I'd like to discover new cultures, new landscapes, learn about other beliefs and share my culture too. I like meeting people with a sense of humor, discovering their cultures and sharing our lifestyle. I like to take my time when discovering new people and families.

And above all, to learn English. I speak basic English (but I'm getting better all the time) and I'd like to improve my skills by taking lessons if possible.

To do this, I'd like to talk on a daily basis, do favors in exchange for accommodation, food and cultural exchange.
I'm adaptable and a quick learner.
I enjoy looking after horse, animals, children, home.
I can also help out on farms with farm work or cleaning, maintenance, gardening, DIY, etc...

In France, I've been riding for 5 years and look after a horse 3 or 4 times a week.
I've learned how to maintain stables, look after baby horses etc.
I enjoy spending time with horses ans i enjoy all task to do horse care.
I have a french qualification in dressage, cross-country, ... the main activity I have practiced is trekking with them.

I love looking after children, whether they are babies or older children. I have a very easy contact with them. I can provide a contact for feedback on my work if needed.

I'm a real housekeeper! I really enjoy housework. I can also cook a little (the queen of crêpes and croque-monsieur).

I own a car, so I'm completely independent.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

As I said earlier, I already have some skills.
I am a nurse in France, so I know how to take care of young, old and sick people.
I've also done babysitting. I can look after the elderly.
I'd like to learn gardening and DIY.
I've been looking after horses for a long time now. I know how to ride. I can simply take care of the horses (clean the stalls, feed them, take them out etc.).
I also look after dogs on a regular basis.
