looking for conservation or permaculture work around Dunedin
Description
I am French travelling in New Zealand for almost a year. I have been learning about conservation, I have done trapping, weeding, and planting of native trees. I have also done some work around native plant greenhouses and vegetable gardens, learning how to grow and care for the plants. I am interested in continuing to do more conservation work.

I have learned a lot about New Zealand’s wildlife and plants. I am a beginner in wildlife photography. I love to go hiking and observe wildlife. I also like to cook and bake and will be happy to learn new recipes.

I am willing to try on new challenges. I can cook and bake. I am handy and can help with building and repairing things. I have experience with cats and horses but I love all animals. I am a scientist and love to talk to and teach people about the wildlife, the environment and lots of scientific topics.

Lucille helped us here at the peak end of winter when animal care can be more demanding. I will especially remember her determination to keep the pigs from escaping their areas by securing their fences a lot better. It worked and she succeeded out there in the worst weather. Lucile stayed with us for ~ 5 weeks during the depths of winter, and helped us with lots of different tasks on our property.

Lucile is a talented amateur nature photographer and has a sound knowledge of NZ ecology. She completed a number of projects including planting, weeding, weed-mat cutting & nursery work. Lucile was open to learning more about planting & native ecology, and she was very kind with our dogs, Fred, Bluey and Ash.
