Hello!

I'm Leah and I don't take life too seriously! I'm here to live, learn, and connect with people.

I spent last summer traveling Europe via Workaway, and I loved it so much I am doing it again. My jobs last summer were were home DIY, hospitality, language, and farm hand (donkeys). I have had many other jobs in the US, and would love to learn new skills.

Having grown up on a farm with horses, pigs, and dogs, I am very comfortable with farm animals. I have also lived off grid a couple times, so living minimally is no problem for me!

I am very active and always down for adventures! Yoga and hiking are definitely my favorites, but I will gladly do just about anything.

This past year I learned how to sew, cross-country ski, and play piano. I would love to pick up photography.

I can be very outgoing, but I am also reserved, mindful, and like to live in the moment.

I eat meat, but have no problem going without it.

I practiced Spanish for 6 years but stopped pursuing it 4 years ago and lost much of it :( I am always down for learning/practicing Spanish.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am knowledgeable and comfortable around farm animals.

I have a degree in Recreation so I value leisure and being outdoors. Some of my recent jobs were camp counseling, daycare, white water rafting, and MLB baseball.

I love baking and cooking and have continually gotten better with it. Last summer I learned that vegetables are valued more in Europe than the USA, so it took me a while to get confident cooking with vegetables.

I also have a lot of experience with cleaning, so I will keep my room tidy and I will gladly clean yours, too.

Beyond conventional jobs, I also have experience with animals and rural settings. I don't mind going out to the bars, but I would much rather be hiking or boating. I have spent a lot of time off-grid camping, and am not afraid of minimalist living.

As mentioned above, I am basic in Spanish; however I believe I will learn rather quickly since I learned it years ago but lost it due to not using it.

I would love to learn new skills and am a great at learning things quickly!
