Description

Canadian traveler seeking fulfilling experiences within many facets of life and culture. I find myself loving the process of meeting new people and doing things I never would have imagined without getting out of my comfort zone. I've always been an introvert, but that hasn't stopped me from putting myself out there and learning/discovering all the ways of the world and the people in it. I find joy in seeing and doing new things, eating interesting foods, having unique moments, and being a part of something bigger than myself. My motivation lies within the world around me, and having a sense of curiosity for nature and the environment is a big part of that.

I'll be honest, I struggle to condense all my skills and experience in to a few paragraphs. So here is a list of my job titles with a brief explanation.
- Water Distribution Operator / Mechanic; Maintenance, flushing, sampling, and testing of water mains around different municipalities.
- Field Tech for environmental flow technologies; Installed, maintained, and troubleshoot flow monitors in sewers.
- Environmental Technician; Overlooked the environmental/air pollution and sampling for a radiation rehabilitation site.
- Environmental Wet Lab Technician; Performed various water/chemical testing on water/sludge samples.
- Office Furniture and Supply Mover; Organized, installed, and moved office furniture and equipment.
- Deli Clerk; Took and performed client orders

I have an education in Environmental Technology - broad knowledge of plant/animal identification, natural environmental processes, chemistry, pollution and response, environmental lab processes, environmental site assessment, hydrogeology, constructed wetlands, water treatment, environmental legislation, statistics, aquatic biology, erosion control, and data management.

I'm and avid hiker. I like to mountain bike. I have a passion in photography, mostly wildlife and macro photography. I enjoy all board and card games. I enjoy sharing, discussing, and learning about music, movies, and different pop cultures. I adore quality food and am trying to become a better cook and baker.
