We are currently at home in Switzerland and are planning our next trip which will start in November in Thailand, then in January in Vietnam and in March in the Philippines.

Description

We are Irene (24) and Thomas (27), we have been together for 8 years and live in Switzerland. After graduating and having accumulated a few years of work experience, in January 2023 we decided to start our dream: we resigned from our jobs, Irene a nurse and Thomas a bricklayer, to dedicate these years of our lives to the discovery of new cultures , landscapes, customs and above all making new friends. We wanted to leave our job in Switzerland because although we liked it a lot, the rhythms and methodology were very stressful, and being young we didn't yet feel ready to settle down in a permanent job and live our dream for only 4 weeks a year. We are very motivated to learn new jobs, especially manual ones and in close contact with nature. We dedicate most of our free time to outdoor activities; Thomas has a particular passion for DIY and Irene really likes music, reading and dedicating time to studying new knowledge.

Siamo Irene (24) e Thomas (27), stiamo insieme da 8 anni e viviamo in Svizzera.
Dopo esserci diplomati e aver accumulato qualche anno di esperienza lavorativa, nel gennaio 2023 abbiamo deciso di cominciare il nostro sogno nel cassetto: ci siamo licenziati dal nostro lavoro, Irene infermiera e Thomas muratore, per dedicare questi anni della nostra vita alla scoperta di nuove culture, paesaggi, usanze e soprattutto stringere nuove amicizie. Abbiamo voluto lasciare il nostro lavoro in Svizzera perché nonostante ci piaceva molto, i ritmi e la metodologia erano molto stressanti, ed essendo giovani non ci sentivamo ancora pronti per stabilirci in un posto fisso e vivere il nostro sogno solo per 4 settimane all'anno. Siamo molto motivati ​​ad imparare nuovi lavori, specialmente quelli manuali e a stretto contatto con la natura.
La maggior parte del nostro tempo libero lo dedichiamo ad attività all'aperto; Thomas ha una particolare passione per il fai da te e a Irene piace molto la musica, leggere e dedicare del tempo allo studio di nuove conoscenze.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Irene is a nurse and Thomas is a bricklayer, both graduated in Switzerland. We have good manual skills. Thomas knows how to do a bit of everything: gardening, bricklaying, maintenance (plumbing and some electrical) and he also has a very good ability to work with wood and has a lot of imagination in creating artistic projects. Irene has experience in agriculture because her family are farmers, she is skilled and really likes cooking typical Italian recipes, she knows how to carry out discreet tailoring work and knows how to take care of complete cleaning of the house. Based on similar experiences we have had in the past, we consider ourselves two people who
they know how to quickly and independently learn the various tasks assigned to us.


ITALIANO:
Irene è infermiera e Thomas Muratore diplomata in svizzera. Ma abbiamo buone capacità manuali. Thomas sa fare un po' di tutto: giardinaggio, muratura, manutenzione (idraulica e qualcosa di elettrico) inoltre ha una buonissima capacità nel lavorare il legno ed ha molta fantasia nella creazione di progetti artistici. Irene ha esperienza nell'agricoltura perché nella sua famiglia sono contadini, è abile e le piace molto cucinare ricette tipiche italiane, sa effettuare discreti lavori di sartoria e sa occuparsi di una pulizia completa della casa. In base alle esperienze vissute ci riteniamo due persone che
sanno apprendere velocemente e in maniera autonoma le varie mansioni che ci vengono assegnate.
