Hey all, this is my first time on workaway and very excited to get to know this platform. Last year we did a bike trip through the east coast of the US and I was amazed by all the kind people I met. I love travelling, learning about new cultures and languages and food makes me very happy.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Me (Ilka) and Dries are both adventurous people who have seen a fair bit of the world in the last 10 years. I (Ilka) am a dietitian but have also done a lot of hospitality work. Dries was on the military for over 10 years and has just finished a season as ski patrolled in the canadian mountains. In Australia we have both worked for beekeepers, trekking companies and cattle farmers. Last year we converted our small van into a little home on wheels. We are not carpenters but have enjoyed the process of it thoroughly.
