Description
I'm a happy and confused human, but I know that I love people. And animals. And clouds. And mountains. Soups&salads. Let's not forget about hugs, big smiles and good laughs..
I love sports (practiced volleyball, rock and mountain climbing, multifunctional training and yoga), being outdoors, read books, play board games, cook and have fun. I find it hard to take life too seriously.
I’ve been volunteering since I left home at the age of 20, been providing foster care for animals for 15 years, was actively volunteering for 7 years at a Dog rescue centre (no kill shelter) in my hometown where I'm finally employed now. :)
In my previous travels I've gained some experience in kitchen work (preparing vegan and vegetarian meals), did loads of cleaning, but I am most efficient and enthusiastic when I work on a project.
An expert in nothing in particular but able in many things, always happy to acquire new skills so if you like to teach me, I'll be honored to learn.

A wonderful person to get to know, she has a friendly and an easy going presence. We experienced that Lara is responsible, conscientious and hard working, even tho there where at times long days, she always delivered. The highlight of my travels, a 10 stars workaway, a one&only.
They will make you feel at home, laugh hard, think, grow, use your initiative, imagination and common sense.
My heart is big as a house because I had the chance to spend two months in this odd place with strange loving creatures. :)

Volunteering here was a very special experience. The hostel had a calm and friendly atmosphere, the work was very easy (6 hours at the reception, 1 day off), but everything is very flexible.
