Hi!
My name is Femke, I am currently traveling in Suriname, mostly doing workaway projects and exploring the country.
I live in the Netherlands where I work as a carefarmer, working mostly with people with a dissability and autism. Together with them we maintain an organic farm, growing vegetables, fruits, flowers and mushrooms for the organic market.
I live in an (allmost) offgrid community where we experiment with offgrid living and try to enhance the social and cultural value of our surroundings. Allthough a very fullfilling life, i decided to take a break and go travel for a few months. Very happy to have this possibilities and looking forward to all the new experiences !

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have been working in farming organic fruits for 4 years now. I also have + 10 years experience in social work. Ive worked a lot with people with mental and physical dissabilities, autism and people with a psychiatric background. Now that im.living off grid for the last two years i've gotten somewhat handy.

Because of my work, sports and living off grid i am also quite strong and able to do some of the heavier work.
