Description

I'm Fanny, a French traveler with an adventurous heart, who left her native land for the wonders of Ecuador for five enriching years. In this country of breathtaking landscapes and enchanting culture, I met inspiring souls who colored my journey with magical hues.

Initially an elementary school teacher for ten years, I then embraced my passion for yoga three years ago, guiding my students on the path to serenity and inner balance. My love for both professions has only grown, as has my desire to discover new lands and meet other vibrant souls.

Today, I'm in California with my partner, Roland, looking to breathe new life into our journey.

I'm Roland, a French-American, visiting the United-States for the first time! I just crossed the Pacific Ocean for 40 days on a catamaran from Tahiti to Peru. Then went to Ecuador and Colombia.

On a more serious side, I've been a CEO of a company I co-founded for 8 years. I took a sabbatical year, which turned into the best decision of my life. Now, I started working part-time remotely here in the United States as a marketing consultant.

I love teaching, sharing moments, have long and deep conversations, play all kind of games, dance salsa, play the trumpet, learn fro, others, work in the garden, build things with my hands or do computer things.

I speak English, French and Spanish Fluently. I also speak Turkish, German and Portuguese a little bit.

We aspire to live a Workaway experience, that adventure where sharing, learning and helping each other are at the heart of every day. We dream of joining a family or community, offering our help and energy while learning from others. We'd love to lose ourselves in California's unexplored trails, on foot or by bike, discovering the beauty of new landscapes.

And most importantly, we would love to meet a some amazing people to spend time with.

Yes I am very interested in learning English! Roland speaks very well English and both of us can teaching French and Spanish. Roland speak also Turkish and he is learning to speak Portuguese.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Summary:

We love healthy cooking! We are ready to help in a variety of areas and adapt to your needs. We can teach French and Spanish, can work in the garden, in construction, with kids, teach Yoga, and with digital/business projects.

Cooking wise, Fanny is vegetarian. She loves exploring new recipes and creating innovative dishes to diversify meals. Roland eats fish and meat from time to time. I love improvising!

Fanny :

I've been a school teacher for 10 years and now work as a Yoga teacher.

With four years' experience as a children's animator, followed by ten years teaching young children, I am able to share my knowledge and fully engage in educational activities.


As a professional Yoga teacher, I would be delighted to share yoga lessons. Although I still need to improve my English to be able to teach fully in this language, I am determined to do so.

Roland:

I've been a CEO of a company a co-founder and now work as a part-time digital marketing consultant.

I am a creative and business enthusiast. In particular, I got specialised in digital marketing, including building e-commerce website, and social media management.

I'm passionate about photography, I have my camera with me so we if you have any needs I'll be able to work for you.

Also, I can create a video from beginning to the end, from ideation to publication. I worked as well as a French teacher for 1 year.

Oh and I can play and teach the trumpet as well!

We both love meeting people and are very social. We love simplicity and believe simple happiness can be found in contemplating sunsets, sharing food, great conversation, dancing or playing music. We love to sing and learn new instruments.

We love to dance and have fun.
Finally, We'll never say it again, but it's essential for us to immerse myself in nature, to breathe fresh air and recharge my batteries in the heart of the great outdoors.
