Sophie and I have been best buddies since our school days, and whenever we get the chance, we embark on exciting travel adventures together. As we near the end of our studies this year, we're eager to take some time off and immerse ourselves in the breathtaking nature and captivating beauty of Hawaii.

Given our long-standing friendship, we make a fantastic team and work seamlessly together. Our shared love for nature, thrilling experiences, and learning about different cultures has led us to seek out the authentic Hawaiian way of life through participation in workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

SOPHIE

I’m a naturally creative and crafty person, which I express through my hobbies. I like to paint, knit, sew and write in my free time and am always working on a new personal project.

I have also done a fair amount of work within the social field. I have experience supporting both children and adults with physical and mental impairments. Additionally, I had the opportunity to volunteer for a year in primary education, further enriching my understanding and skills in this area.

Through my upbringing within the Rudolf Steiner system, the Waldorf School, I am very familiar with any type of farm work, like weeding, planting and harvesting and taking care of animals.

EVI

In addition to Sophie, I consider myself a creative and crafty individual. I find great pleasure in knitting, sewing, and expressing myself through writing, particularly through poems and short stories.

Moreover, I am an avid sports enthusiast, actively engaging in various activities such as yoga, running, and other sports like tennis or swimming. I especially relish the opportunity to partake in these activities amidst the beauty of nature.

Professionally, I work as a special needs teacher, a role that brings me immense joy. Like Sophie, I have extensive experience in the social field, having worked in diverse educational settings and engaging in projects involving both elderly and young individuals. Whenever I have spare time, I enjoy exploring ways to incorporate physical activities with the children at school, fostering their holistic development.

Growing up in a Waldorf school, I developed a love for outdoor activities like gardening, working with wood and stone, and caring for animals.

SOPHIE

Over these past years my friends have convinced me that board games are actually fun. I now like Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Monopoly, Cluedo and any game that evolves around solving a mystery. I am also very much into podcasts and documentaries.
Additionally, I very interested in art and art history as well as fashion (sustainable preferably of cause).
