Hello,
my name is Dörte and I'm 56 years old. In Germany I'm a teacher for children with learning an behavior difficulties and I really love my job. I am planning a one year sabbatical traveling the US and South America.
I traveled in 2013/14 in 2016/17 and in 2020.... 2 1/2 years by now and have worked on horse farms, date-olive and-avocado farms and in a B&B. I also helped at a rafting company as a shuttle driver (for the boats) and as the second person in a safety boat.
I love helping in (big) kitchens and looove doing dishes (no joke!!!)
I would also do any other work, that's what this year is for....do do/try/work new things.
I have always done everything around my house (painting, repairing....) myself , but I'm abs0lutely no help with computers.
I love biking, reading, kayaking (class II-III), hiking, camping. I do not need any bigger towns around me. I'm a non smoker, have no allergies....
On a chitychat level I am fluent in English ....it would be great to start to speak Spanish, since my godkid lives on an olive farm in Spain:-)

By now I am pretty good around horses. I love getting up early in the morning and do the feeding!!! My riding skills are NOT advanced.
I think I am pretty good with every work in a kitchen.
I promise, I will do everything the way you want things to be done. I will saddle your horses exactly how you want them to be saddled. I will slice the melon exactly how you want it to be sliced. It is your business and I am totally willing to accept your way.
