Hello,
My name is Christine, I am French. I am 54 and decided to give a sense to my life by travelling during one year.
My wish is to share, to discover your life, your culture, to take care of your place, your children, your animals, to be part of your life during a while, to learn, to teach you my language, to discover your country.
I am a quiet woman, I love reading, listening to music. I like peaceful places but also enjoy noisy places like pubs😉
I like honnesty. Conflicts and lies are not possible for me. I like healthy relationship with respect.

I came back home from United States on Oct 10 - I stayed there 2 months.
I was about to write a feedback of my experience at the Kadampa meditation center, but it has been removed from Workaway website by the team. I guess I know the reason why, it was hard work, 7 hours a day - not the policy of Workaway.info - but I spent a great time, I learnt a lot doing outdoor works, and I had free access to meditation classes and I met really nice people. I stayed with them one month and then travelled alone in New York State and Pennsylvania, and I went to Miami and Key West.

At the moment I am at home and plan to travel again from November 17 to December 22.

Let's meet! My travelling sabbatical year is amazing, travelling alone is such an experience to meet people, to share, to discover countries, to do things I have never done, to learn, to teach my language, to learn your language...

Hello,
I started my one-year tour doing Workaway in Ireland last March.
At the moment I am in United States, in the New York State ; I arrived on August 10 and will leave the place on Sept 18. I do workaway in KADAMPA Meditation Center in Glen Spey.
I was coming from Nordic countries where I spent 2 months ; one month around Helsinki in FInland in a farm, and 1 month in Norway in Lofoten Island in an old factory transformed into an amazing place : restaurant, hotel with events, artists, music, situated in Lofoten islands the TREVAREFABRIKKEN. They are not on Workaway, I stopped at their place and asked to do workaway and Mats, the manager, who has 50 employees, welcomed me as a workawayer during 3 weeks. It was an amazing experience, I have done so many things : painting, sanding, varnishing, helping the carpenters to prepare signs for a big festival, cleaning inside, and driving the artists from ferry and airport to the place, It was such a great experience and I am very thankfull as Mats trusted me to take care of the artisits and I am really happy to discover music from Nordic artists.

This is my first day on Workaway (Oct 2021). I am a 53 year old woman with 2 daughters aged 23 and 26. I leave in France. I love reading, swimming, sharing with people, I feel concerned with ecology and zero waste products. Today I want to change my life, to discover the beauty of the world, feel the nature and meet people. I wish and I know this is a new beautiful start. Christine

My 'official job' is executive assistant. But I decided to quit.
I am able to take care of your children and I love. I am the mum of 2 beautiful girls aged 24 and 27.
I can do housekeeping, cooking, gardenning.
I have a shared garden with my neighbours and compost.
A week ago I arrived to South of France, Perpignan, I am spending time with friends who are working on a project 'Coeur de Vie' - Heart of Life- a 3 hectares of land where they will grow many sorts of trees. I help them, I discover and love!
I can organize events and could help a hotel manager with efficiency.
And, above all, I love to learn each and every day.
I love cats, dogs, horses, any animal.
At the moment (january 2022) I take care of Apo, a cat of a friend, It's one month since Apo is with me in my flat and I love his company.

I eat fish, eggs .I do not often eat meat.
i use organic products at home (kitchen and bathroom). I like DIY products at home and zero waste products.

I would like to connect to people who like to connect to nature and animals.

By the way I am French, I live in France, and I have also the Swiss nationality.
