Just noticed that my review for Noah and Michael isn't here....sorry guys. You are two wonderful genuine polite hard working guys. We so enjoyed your company and having you stay with us. Really enjoyed learning so much about Canada too. Noah and Michael achieved so much for us in the week they stayed, they are very proficient at using power tools in the garden, our monstrous hedge finally got it's prune finished as did another very long one. They worked so hard to finish all the jobs we had for them.in the garden even on the days when the weather was not great. We wish them all the best and would welcome them back any day. Good luck guys.

Cedric is a top bloke, intelligent, considerate, respectfull and helpfull. His engineering background is usefull for problem solving and finding the right approach to the work, Cedric worked well with the other helpers and joined in with all the activities, he followed instruction well as well as being helpfull around the house, we can recomend him to any host.

Becca is a nice person who helps out without even being asked, you give her a job and u can rely on it being done well. Becca also was helpfull with the other helpers, joined in with all activities and gave it her best, her artistic talents are also valuable, we can recomend her to any host

Marie was great to have as part of our farm and family. She is kind, reliable, hardworking, and considerate. She thinks ahead, works independently and is very helpful. We would be happy to have her back anytime. Highly recommended to any host.

Erik was our first volunteer and we got so lucky. He is a very reliable person, very smart, a huge help for the project , a good trainer, very confident with the animals and loving. It was not only a big succes working with him, but really fun as well. Erik is interested in learning new things all them time, and he soaks it up like a sponge. He gets along with everyone we wish he could stay forever.

The time with Carmel was absolutely amazing!!! She is such a cool, appreciative, warm, generous, open minded and lovely person with a great humour. We could go on with these descriptions because she is everything you could wish from a host!! We had lovely and funny talks, a lot of laughs and excellent cooking sessions. Carmel is a perfect cook and she did everything that we could feel comfortable in her home. For us it was like a real home during the two weeks. We had our own room with a own bathroom. There was always the possibility to use the kitchen and the livingroom. Carmel made sure that we had everything we needed (from ingredients in the fridge to a driving opportunity to the pub) and respected our privacy as well. She has a beautiful garden with a small greenhouse and we enjoyed the work in her garden during these two weeks extremely. Carmel gave us the possibility to be flexible in working (if we wanted to do something in the morning, we could also work in the afternoon). We laid a weed cover, planted plants, did some weeding and strimming tasks and of course we walked the dogs, which was every day a pleasure. Reilly and Tobi are to most cutest dogs! We always had so much fun with them. Carmel had always brilliant tips what we could explore around the area of west cork. She is a good english teacher as well and we are thankful for her support. All in all it was perfect and we want to say thank you so much!! For us you became a really good friend and we will see you soon! Mo and Lu

We where for 2 weeks helping at the campsite. It was a good experience; we liked it to meet many different, nice people and help them with their questions. The cleaning tasks where ok. We made walks and visited nice places around. We liked the camping atmosphere a lot and felt good there. We wish Mirjana, Dragan and Nada succes with this beautiful place!

miguel is a very mature boy despite his young age, and is able to carry out the work independently, and is very willing to work, I immediately felt good!

We had the pleasure of hosting Remy here at Glendalough - she's bubbly and quick-witted and quite knowledgeable. Remy's quite enthusiastic and was a great fit for the team and just the hostel in general, making this a truly enjoyable experience for us. We highly recommend Remy to any future hosts :)

We had an excellent time here at the lake with Fynn. He was an amazing help from the very beginning! No matter what task we showed him he was immideately on it. Fast learner as he is, and also quite experienced it was perfect to have him on the team. But above that - and maybe even more important! - he right away became part of our workaway family. Helping or even running the kitchen. Playing cards, canoeing, great sense of humor, and always a smile! Fynn is super welcome back here anytime and if he contacts you do not hesitate to invite him!

Thank you Jan for joining us and making these weeks very special! Jan is a very good teamplayer, always right there with a good laugh and up for all kind of work - and fun. Painting with the famous faluröd paint , preparing firewood and all kind of work in the garden he did with great results. And we had great times singing at the bonfire! So hope to see you here again one day and for all the others out there - very recommendable!

I had the chance to spend a week with Georgia, Cai and Dilan (their child). I immediately felt at home, it is a family full of big children. Dilan is a very nice and well-behaved child, we spent a lot of time playing together. With Cai I learned a lot, I helped him to renovate the house. The working atmosphere is great, Cai is very patient and kind. A big thank you for everything, we meet again when I pass in the region😊

The time ( 5 days) i spent with Sigrid has been very enriching for me.I learned a lot about healthy food,quickly prepared,i learned also to know the names of many herbs. Our communication has been always respectful and we had very interesting subjekts to discuss. The Yoga Lession,almost two hours,together with other Yoga pupils managed Sigrid with clear announcement and i could feel her enthusiasm for Yoga. Together we were working in her beautiful big garden. Also ,our walks were very interesting.We walked along the river "Ilz" and Sigrid showed me the Beauty of nature around the town "Passau". Thank you so much,Sigrid,for your empathie and kindness! As soon as possible,i will come again to stay maybe a longer time!Cheers!Theresia

This is an amazing place to stay. Laura and Paul have really built a beautiful and peaceful area with a powerful soul. They truly put their whole heart into this project, and we can feel it. I felt at home really fast and enjoyed every moment together. I was only there for two days, and they celebrated my birthday, it was really lovely of them. This experience was all about sharing, so heart-fulfilling. I slept for most of my stay in their incredible "A-frames" and was really glad to be in such a nice wood cabin :) I was there during a lively time; we were four workawayers at the same time. It was really joyful, and I'm so glad I got to meet incredible new people as well. I really enjoyed the work I did; it was very versatile, each day was different. I got to do painting, cleaning, laundry, setting up the tents and decorating them, drilling, and last but not least, concrete! Riding the golf cart and tractor was a PLUS and so much fun, haha. I arrived during a week when a burlesque show was being set up. It was a pleasure to see all of this come to life and to be able to see the show afterward! We helped with parking and running the bar and it was so cool to do something different again! Basically, if you enjoy trying your hand at various tasks and doing different things, you will definitely find happiness here ! I loved the daily routine of sharing breakfast together and getting to know what the day would be like. Laura was really organized, and you knew from the very beginning of the day what your tasks would be. We shared amazing suppers (like a crêpes or burgers party!) and conversations as well. The goats, ducks, and chickens are adorable, and it's nice to be around them. It was really enjoyable to be able to borrow bikes and discover the area around; it’s really beautiful. I'm so sad to have stayed only two weeks. I would have loved to stay longer. I already know that I want to come back. Laura, Paul, and Calliope are the sweetest. They’re incredible and are surrounded by amazing people as well !! Monkey, BooBoo, and Faith, thank you for also being this nice to me.

wow what an incredible first Workaway I had! I'm so grateful for the 3 weeks I spent here. I was able to learn about Spanish, life in San Gil, and teaching in schools. I would recommend this Workaway to anyone looking to spend time in a friendly family home and learn more about this beautiful place. everything was perfect

Jenny and Akos were with uf for about a month. We had not a lot of work these days but they were both creative and had the drive to start their own projects. Akos initiated the building of a oven built of natural materials and they built it with the help of Thomas who is involved in the project as well. We had a great time together and enjoyed the time in the jungle. Looking forward to see u guys!

We had just Sebastien here with us and greatly enjoyed his company, the exchange of ideas, and seeds and his help in our garden.

This volunteer experience was a pure blessing! It made my Thai adventure so much better, I was truly lucky to find Mink as my host. The job is pretty simple (it basically consists in cleaning and helping with check ins/outs plus preparing breakfast for the guests) and Mink is always ready to help and assist you with EVERYTHING, not necessarily workaway related. In addition the hostel is located in a perfect position, it's super clean and comfortable. The beauty of it was that I was able to feel at home even if I was miles away from Italy, and that's truly special. Thank you Mink, Oat and Palwan for the wonderful days, I'll miss you forever ♥️ 🇮🇹 🇹🇭

We had Alex with us for 3 weeks. She was very motivated and helped us with the construction of some furniture, sanding the wooden house. She was very creative painting the furniture and some signs for the path. She was a great sport and we had a lot of fun and a good time. Thank you Alex, we miss you!
