Help with Kiwi German Family in Green Bay, New Zealand

  Description

  We are a kiwi- german family. Brad and Doro, teenagers Theo and Luka (aged 16 and 14), and Sophie the dog. We live in Green Bay, Auckland, the gateway to the West Coast beaches (great for surfing), the Waitakere Ranges for hiking, and arty Titirangi with its market and many cafes. We try to raise our kids bilingual. So it would be great if you are German speaking if you could please speak only German with the kids.
  We had a some really good experiences with workawayers who stayed and helped us with gardening, and some small renovation projects.
  We think it is great to welcome others into our family, because we are so far away from all other countries.
  At the moment we are looking for someone who can help us with picking the kids up from school and driving them to their sport after school and some help in the house and garden.
  You will need a drivers licence that is valid in New Zealand and be a confident and safe driving on the left side.

  We are a typical suburban kiwi family, with a relatively small house, busy teenagers, extended family close buy who regularly come around for BBQs or just a chat, great neighbours with small kids who alos come around are always looking for babysitters. You will see how everyday live in New Zealand's biggest city works for a family that is sporty and likes the outdoors. The children often have their friends around for a swim in our pool and just hanging out. We love where we are and are happy to share what we have with others.

  We need someone with a full drivers licence, social and happy to help out when needed. We want you to speak German with the kids if you are German.

  Hébergement

  We have a spare room for you or you can stay in our campervan in the drive way if you'd like more privacy. We have 2 toilets but only 1 bathroom. We have a small swimming pool and spa pool in the garden. Green Bay is not central but great if you want to get to the west coast surf beaches or the ranges for hiking. There is a good bus connection to the city and is not far to the shopping mall and train station.

  We are both working from home on alternate days of the week and are happy for you to use a work space and our wifi connection.
