💛 JOIN A SINGLE MOM AND HER DAUGHTER'S FAMILY IN THE HEART OF BARCELONA 💛
🖐 About Us:
Hi! I am Justyna, and I’m a solo mother to Nina, who is 5 years old. We live in the Sants-Montjuic district in Barcelona, near the city centre, in a 3-bedroom apartment. We are looking for a great, well organized and super nice au pair to join our little family from October 2024 till June 2025.
What We Offer:
😊 Own spacious room with a double bed, desk, and a heater in a well-maintained apartment close to the city centre.
😊 Food: Basic, healthy, low on meat. Our freezer is always full of ready-to-heat meals that I make by myself in bulk, as well as cakes and bread. We provide products for you to prepare your own breakfast, teas, or snacks or cook some other meals you like.
😊 Lots of free time during the week, as Nina stays in school till 4:30 or 6:00 pm.
😊 Easy-to-understand schedule in Google Calendar.
😊 Great hospitality.
🌟 About Nina:
Nina is an open and communicative child who thrives on attention. She loves playing and drawing, puzzle and table games. She is an unique, very smart kid and I try to do a lot to keep her away from the sceen. 🎨 Nina's school schedule is Monday to Wednesday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM; Thursdays she leaves at 4:30 PM for her swimming class at 5:15 PM, and Fridays she finishes at 4:30 PM. She speaks English, Polish, Spanish, and Catalan.
After school, Nina follows a routine: playing, showering, and having dinner at 7:30 PM. She goes to bed around 9:00 and sleeps with me. 🌙
🏡 About Me:
I work from home or coworking spaces, enjoy the gym, yoga, and love spending time outdoors in the summer. I value a clean house, a good atmosphere. I often handle grocery shopping and cook sometimes. 🍴 Evenings are spent at home, enjoying a nice dinner, sometimes with guests.
🤗 Our Expectations:
We are seeking a female volunteer over the age of 22, who is optimistic, well-organized, and leads a rather healthy lifestyle. It's important that you have a plan for your free time and a genuine love for engaging with children. ❌ Please note: No smokers, dog owners, couples, or those with a party lifestyle.
🎒 Your Role:
Your involvement will include walking Nina to and from school, helping keep the house tidy, assisting with meals, and occasionally taking Nina to the playground. 🌳 You will also help Nina with her post-school routine, including bathing, playing, and dinner preparations.
This volunteer role is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on a young child’s life while becoming an integral part of a loving home environment.

We provide basic products for you to prepare your own breakfast, teas, or snacks or cook some other meal you like. You will not be responsible for cooking.

We have many amazing libraries around that you can go to for studying. There is also a free circus training group in our neighborhood that you can join. Great public transport. Barcelona is always plenty of activities. Just check up the Meet Up platform and you will find plenty of things to do. There are always many language courses available and some of them are free, like catalan courses.
