German speakers: Taking care of my son in Vechelde, Germany

  Description

  Hello Workawayers,
  My son and I have been traveling for over 3 years and have done a lot of workaway. Now we are looking for support ourselves since I am working in a time consuming online project now.
  
  📌What: Looking after my 9-year-old son during my working hours, learning and playing together in the morning, cooking lunch and, if necessary, further support around the house. All in all relaxed. My son is already very independent.
  🗓️When: April 28, 2024 - May 12, 2024, at least 1 week
  🗺️Where: Vechelde near Braunschweig
  🗒️Note: here we are looking after a sweet kitty. So the apartment doesn't belong to us. Your stay with us is of course agreed upon. Since we travel ourselves, we will always look in different places.
  
  ⚽️You're a good fit for us if you're physically fit and want to play football with my son.
  
  🛌You will have your own room.
  
  🇩🇪German would be a huge plus, but my son speaks basic English also.
  🚭Absolutely non-smoker, no perfume etc. We are very sensitive to smells!
  
  🍕We eat cereals for breakfast. Would be great if you can cook some basic lunch ( e.g. rice with veggies, sandwiches, pasta, something quick and simple). Of course I will provide all the food. For dinner we can alter in cooking or cook together whatever fits best. We eat meat but can adjust to vegetarian or vegan for your time with us.
  
  🧼 I thrive best in a clean and organised environment. Whatever is in your room is up to you :) I’m doing this with my son too. His room his rules. But all the spaces we share are tidy :)

  Vechelde is a small, quiet place. You can be in Braunschweig in 10 minutes. Braunschweig has something to offer for everyone, is very green, surrounded by a water canal with boat rentals. Hanover is about 30 minutes away and also offers lots of activities. A Germany ticket is an advantage. A bicycle can be used.
